Chapter 3:Plans To Ruin The Wedding

Rose's P.O.V.-
"How did you get invited to the wedding?"I asked Josh.
Josh came over this morning to pick Parker and I up.We're driving to school now and everyone thinks we hate each other.I can't wait to see there surprised faces.Luckily we managed to get out without Ben or Shawn seeing us.
"Shawn said the whole football team is invited and they have to bring dates.I was wondering if you wanted to go with me Rose?"He asked.
"Yeah sure.Now I won't be bored."I said.
"Hey!What am I suppose to do all day?"Parker shouted from the passenger seat.
"I'm not sure."Josh said.
"I have a crazy idea."I blurted out.
I heard muttering along the lines of "Oh god.This can't be good." and "We're not gonna make it out alive.".
"Anyway my idea is that Parker gets interviewed to be a waiter and my aunt hires him and then bam he is doing something and won't be bored."I said.
"And where is the fun in that?"Parker asked.
I shrugged.
"I have an idea."Josh said.
I did a hand motion to gesture him to continue.
"My idea is that we ruin the wedding."He said.
"We can't do that."I said.
"I think we can.Your aunt and her soon to be newlywed hate you for no reason so why not give them a reason to hate you."Josh said.
"He has a point."Parker said.
"Alright fine.How do we ruin the wedding?"I asked.
"There are many ways to ruin a wedding."Josh said.
"What kind of music does your aunt listen to?"Parker asked.
"Classical.Like Beethoven."I said shuttering.
"We're going to put on music the exact opposite of classical during there first dance."Parker said.
"Then what?"I asked.
"We could slip alcohol into the drinks and make your aunt trip while walking down the aisle."Josh said.
We talked about ideas about ruining the wedding until we got to school.
"Guys I'm scared."I told them before we got out the car.
"Stick with us Rosy."Josh said.
"Ok."I gulped.
We got out the car and we walked side by side together with me in the middle,Parker to my right and Josh to my left.We stood infront the doors of the school and then after a few seconds we went in.
Once everyone saw us they were silent.There jaws dropped and there eyes wide on the scene before them.Soon there were whispers all around the room.I mean if I was normal like them I would wonder why the weird girl,the bad boy,and the popular jock were walking together.
"What now?"I asked.
They both shrugged.
We continued walking around talking about ruining the wedding and then the bell rung.
We both had the same class so we all walked towards our classroom ignoring the stares.
We made it in and sat next to each other.
Ben and Shawn walked in the room and when they saw us together there were mixed emotions on there faces.Anger,shock,and disapproval.I could care less.
Shawn walked over to where we were.
"Rose can I talk to you for a minute?"He asked through gritted teeth.
I looked towards Josh and Parker to silently ask permission and they both said nodded indicating yes.
I stood up and followed Shawn.
"What the hell,Rose?"He said.
"What?"I asked.
"What do you mean what?You know what!Why are you hanging out with a low life's like Parker.He is a waste of time.In fact he is a waste of space-"I cut him off by my hand meeting his cheek hard.All heads of the classroom snapped towards us.
"Don't ever say that again."I said through gritted teeth.
"Detention Rose."The teacher said.
Josh and Parker stood up to walk over to me.
"Boys sit down unless you want detention like Miss.Bradford over there."The teacher said.
They ignored him and rushed over to me.
"Rosy what did he say?"Parker asked worriedly.
"It doesn't matter."I say.
I couldn't tell Parker what he said.
"Detention for the three of you this afternoon."The teacher said to Josh,Parker,And I.
We nodded and took our seats.
It was lunch time.Parker,Josh,and I all met at the library and are currently seated in the back of the library eating our lunch.
"Rose,please tell us what happened?"Josh begged for the hundredth time.
"It doesn't matter."I said.
"Yes it does."Parker said.
"We care about you.We don't want to see you hurt."Josh said.
"I know you guys care but what Shawn said was uncalled for."I told them.
"Tell us what he said."Parker demanded.
"Fine.He call you guys low life's and saying that you're a waste of space and time."I told them.
"That jerk."Josh said.
"Yeah.I know right."I told them.
"Well we all know the truth so let's just ignore what he says about us."Parker said.
"Yeah let's talk about the wedding."I told them.
"I have a few ideas."Josh grinned.
"Why don't you enlighten us."Parker said.
We discussed the ideas and already made plans for this afternoon.
This is going to be epic!
After our stupid detention,which is boring,we all got in Josh's car.We drove to the bakery where my aunt's wedding cake is.I got out the car while Parker and Josh filled me in.
"What can I do for you,Miss?"The man asked.
"My aunt has a wedding cake here and she want me to make sure you put the right cake topper on."I told him.
"Your aunt's last name?"He asked.
"Her maiden name is Bradford but her new last name is Scott."I answered.
"Ahh.Mrs.Bradford never told me about niece coming."He said.
"She said it's urgent.She gained some weight and is really stressed because her dress won't fit.You know how brides are."I said.
Josh and Parker stiffened a laugh.
"I see.I'll bring out the collage of cake toppers so you can show me which one."He said.He was probably to scared to deal with a bridezilla.
He walked to the back of the store through a store.He came back a couple of minutes later.
"Here you go miss."He said while handing me the collage.
I sat at one of the table and Parker and Josh soon joined.I flipped through the collage to find the perfect one.I know what she would want,which would be the bride and groom standing next to each other holding hands,but I'm choosing the opposite.
"Found it."I said while grinning.
I pointed towards the picture.It was the bride holding a leash which was on the groom and he was on his knees like a dog.
I walked back to where the bakery man was.
"She said something like this."I told him while pointing at it.
"Yes we have that in stock.I hope she is happy."He says.
"Oh she will be."I said with an evil smirk.
I skipped out the bakery and Parker and Josh shortly followed.I jumped in the car and took out my phone.
"Hello?"Todd's voice rang through the phone.
Todd my aunt's ex who proposed but was told no.He loved me like his own family which is why me aunt said no.He was my favorite one out of all the men she dated.He still considers me family and calls me to check up on me.Josh and Parker finally get in the car and Josh is driving.
"Hey uncle Todd.I was wondering if you could help me."I told him.
"My dear sweet niece what do I have the pleasure of helping you with?"He asked.
I told him my plan.
"Ahh.I love it.Count me in."He said.
"Alright see you at the wedding.Love you uncle Todd."I said.
"Love you too."He said before he hung up.
"Step 1 and 2 are complete."I told them while grinning evilly.
"So how are we going to get Parker that job?"Josh asked.
"We are going to stall Shawn and Ben while Parker gets interviewed.When he is done he'll call us to tell us then we can go out and celebrate with a dinner on me and by dinner I mean pizza and soda."I told them.
"Rodger Agent Rose."They said in unison.
We made it to my house and I gave Parker directions to the place my aunt is giving interviews at.Parker left and soon Josh and I walk in my house.
I walk in the kitchen and Josh follows.
"Do you want anything?"I asked while opening the fridge.
"No thanks."He said.
"Ok.Your loss."I said getting a can of soda.
"Rose your finally home and is that a boy?"My dad asked.
I turn to Josh.
"Are you a boy?"I asked.
"Yes."He said.
I turn to my dad.
"Yep he is a boy."I said.
"What is he doing here?"My father asked.
"Father.Don't be so rude.This is my friend Josh.Josh this is my dad."I said.
"It's nice to meet you Mr.Bradford."Josh said politely while holing out a hand for my dad to shake.
"You too,Josh."My dad says while shaking his hand firmly.
"Is Ben and Shawn here?"I asked.
"Yep they're in your room."My dad said.
"Alright.C'mon Josh."I said while taking him by the hand and dragging him upstairs to my room.
"Rosy you're home."Ben said.
"Hey."I said.
"Josh what are you doing here?"Shawn asked.
"He's my friend."I said.
"Oh really."Shawn said sarcastically.
"Yeah really.Whats that supposed to mean?"I asked confused.
"Doesn't matter anyway who are you bring to the wedding,Josh?"Shawn asked.
"Rose."He said.
"Interesting."Shawn said.
"Yeah.Rose is amazing.She's pretty,smart,and talented."He said while throwing an arm around my shoulder.
I just so happened to blush.
"What do you mean by talented?"Shawn questioned.
"Could you stop interrogating him?"I asked.
"Fine."He said.
"Let's watch some tv."Ben said awkwardly.
We turned the tv on and watched some show that Shawn likes.About 40 minutes later my phone rang.I went in the bathroom and answered it.
"Hello?"I asked.
"I got the job."Parker said.
"Ok we'll leave.Meet us outside in ten."I told him and hung up.
