"I can tell you one thing. I am not waiting here all day for you're... boss." I said in a growl.

"There's not very much you can do in a situation such as this one." He said with a smirk.

I snorted in disgust. "Whose you're boss anyway?"

"Wouldnt you like to know..." He murmured, checking his watch suddenly.

""Um, yeah. I sure would." I said exasperated.

"Be patient and I might just give you a cookie for being such a good girl!" He said with an edge of annoyance to his voice.

"Oh yes please, a cookie, yum, yum!" I said sarcasticlly, rolling my eyes.

"Sarcasm get's you no where Regan." I heard the deep voice and my head whipped towards the door.

A tall man walked in. He was very pale and skinny and his face seemed very gaunt. He had dark hair, combed back slightly and he wore a white shirt with a black blazer and black trousers. Even though he seemed somehow... fragile... power emmited from him so strongly, it sent me reeling.

"Sarcasm get's you just about anywhere." I said lightly, standing.

"So you're Regan..."

"Yes, this is Regan, why expecting more?"

"You don't look much of a warrior..."

"Hey, what I lack in my fighting skills I make up with my physic skills... want to give it a try?" I said, taking up my fighting stance, raising an eyebrow and smiling cockily.

"Maybe another time... right now I need you're help."

"Wait, wait... YOU need MY help?" I barked out an unbeliving laugh. "You must be joking me."

"Oh, I am deadly serious Regan."

"And... why exactly would I help you out? Even if you threatened my life I still wouldnt do anything for you."

"Oh I think you would..."

"And why would that be?" I asked, still disbelving.

"You are well aware of... Alice?"

"Alice, what do you know about Alice?!" I said in a low dangerous voice.

Alice had once been my best friend, my only friend really. She had went missing five years ago, no trace what so ever, Her case had went cold, completely freezing, she was no-where. I had looked and looked for her and done as much as I could but she was lost. Somewhere far from me. I gave up less than a year ago. Gave up being very strong words, I continued to look but not so dramaticlly, I odten asked people in the streets, put signs up checked out places...

"I know where she is." He said gravely.

I frowned. "What have you done to her!? If she is hurt you're going to be in a hell of a lot of pain!" I snarl.

He waved a hand dissmissivly. "She's fine. I have not touched her neither have any of my men but I know who is keeping her right now. If I tell them too... she will remain fine. If I tell them the opposite of that,,," He smiled widely and it was a terrifiyingly cold smile. "You can imagine what they might do to her."

The breath seemed to fly out of me. "What do you want?" My voice was icey cold.

"You're help."

"Well duh, I got that part! Why do you need my help?" I asked impatiently.
