Chapter 1

Hannah's POV

It was Saturday afternoon and It was the first day of summer. I was packing my bags for my road trip with my boyfriend. I checked my phone, It is 12:42.

I leave in a hour.

I was still packing. I couldn't stop thinking how this will be the best summer ever!

"Hannah!" My mum yelled and I was shook out of my thoughts.

I put down the shirt I was folding and made my way to where my mum was. I found her sitting in the living room with Lexie so I sat in the recliner.

"Yeah?" I asked.

"Lexie got tickets to see One Way -"

"One Direction." Lexi corrected her.

"That too." My mum said. "And 5 Minutes Of Spring-"

"5 Seconds of Summer." Lexie corrected her again and I giggled.

"Whatever. and she won 4 tickets to see them and backstage passes. You are taking her and her friend. You can bring Skylar so you're not alone."

"Okay, when is it?" I asked.

"Its in two days." My mum answered.

"What?! That's when I'm supposed to be on the road trip!" I yelled.

"You're not going. You're taking your sister and that's final." She sternly said.

"But-"

"No if's, and's or but's. You're taking her."

"Fine. Where is it?" I asked.

"Townsville, Queensland."

"Queensland?! Exactly when are we leaving?"

"Today. I have a hotel booked for you guys for the whole week. Spend that time wisely. Oh & I booked you guys plane tickets. The plane leaves at 3."

"Fine." I huffed and went back to my room.

I sat on my window seat and dialed Matt's number. On the second ring he answered.

"Hey babe."

"Hey. I have to tell you something." I said quietly.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Ermm.. I can't go on the roadtrip."

"Whatever Hannah." He angerly said. "How did I know you were going to cancel?"

"Matt, Its not my fault. My mum wants me to take my sister-"

"Save it Hannah. I don't have time for your excuses." He snapped then hung up.

I took my phone away from my ear and hit the end button. I sighed and got up from my window seat. I paced back and forth in my room as I dialed Skylar's number.

"Hey Han." Skylar said.

"Hey Sky." I said back.

"So whats up?" She asked.

"Uh, well, you kind of have to go with me to a concert." I stated.

"When?" She asked confused.

"Uhhh. In two days." I answered.

"Aren't you supposed to be on your road trip then?" She asked.

"Yes but my mom is making me take Lexie and her friend so I have no choice. Plus we're leaving today. So pack up."

"But you said the concerts in two days."

"It is but its all the way in Queensland. But on the bright side my mom booked a hotel for us for a week. Plus she booked plane tickets so we don't have to drive" I said kind of happily.
