Pt 3.

As soon as you arrive home you see your mom on the couch. She turns to you and asks how your day went.
"It was actually great. I made a few new friends"
You smile as your happily walk to the kitchen to grab and apple. "Any cute boys" your mom asks as she drops her book and raises her eyebrow at you with a smirk. You laugh and shake your head at the ground.
You start immediately thinking of Grayson and Ethan. That causes you to smile and blush.
Your mom gasps with a smile. "Tell me more".
You suck in part of your cheek to try to contain your smile. "Okay fine" you exclaim excitedly ass you rush back to the living room and jump onto the couch.
Your moms leans forward smiling. "Their names are Grayson and Ethan. I have a few classes with them. Ethans kind of an asshole but Grayson's really sweet" you giggle. "How is Ethan an asshole?"
She asks curiously. "He just kind of gives off the douchey vibe. They're both popular. I don't know"
You take a bit of your apple and sigh. "Well have you talked to them" You choke on your apple. "Oh yeah" you both laugh. "Are they into you?"
"Probably not mom. They're super hot and popular. No Way in hell are they going to like me"
"Come on dont day that. Did they show any signs of interest". "Ethan was flirty but that's just his personality. And Grayson called me beautiful, but that's just because he's naturally nice."
"Now how do you know that"
You sigh. "I don't know mom, I just do"
You toss your apple in the air repeatedly,
"Plus, I'm not looking for a relationship right now"
You look at your mom with a snark as you continue tossing your apple. "Sweetie, is this about Jordan? He's an asshole. Wasn't even worth the heartbreak" Your mood changes. Your heart sinks into your stomach and you feel like your soul just escaped your body. You quit tossing the apple and pause, squeezing it as your nails dig into it (not purposely) you contain yourself and take a deep breath and put a smile back on. And continue tossing your apple "Mom no, I'm over that. It's just I don't need a guy, all I need is a best friend right now" You catch your apple and look at your mom and wink. "Which, I have one. Her name Danielle"
"You should have her over tonight!"
You jump up off the couch and take a bit of your apple. With your mouth full you run up the stairs and shout between chews "I would but I'm going over to Ethan and Grayson's"
Your moms eyes widen and she runs to the stairs and shouts up from the very bottom "they're brothers?!" And you're also just now telling me you're doing over there?!"
She yells excitedly and shocked.
"Yup and yup!"
You shout.
Your mom jumps up and down and claps her hands while squealing. She runs back to the couch and continues reading her book.
You throw your apple into the trash can. And strip your clothes to hop in the shower. Your phone starts ringing and you see it's Grayson. You decline and he calls again. You shuffle around and answer it.
"Hello?" "Yeah hey this is Grayson."
"What'd you need? "I'm ordering pizza for tonight and I was wondering what kind you like" "oh no, I'm fine. Don't worry about it" "wait, you're not a vegan are you?" He asks scared. You chuckle "no, I just don't want you to spend money on me."  "Okay, you scared me for a minute. They don't have vegan pizza where I'm at." You both laugh. "Hey what's that noise in the background?" "Well I'm kinda in the shower, which is why I declined your call."
You hear his breathing hitch and he clears his throat.
"Oh I'm sorry" he says shakily. "No um, your fine. I'm gonna go now so this isn't awkward for you."
You slightly laugh. Grayson's laughs cockily and his voice deepens. "Do you really think I care if you're in the shower?" "Well uhm I-" "in fact, it makes this call more enjoyable." "See you at 5 babygirl"
Grayson hangs up. You still hold onto the phone in shock. As Grayson said those words your heart fluttered. You couldn't believe what you just heard. You gulped and say your phone back up. As you caught your breath. "Oh my fucking god"
You continue your shower in confusion and enjoyment at the same time. You shut the water off and wrap a towel around you. You pick your phone up and make a way to your room. You try looking through clothes to wear but can't figure out which. You FaceTime Danielle and she picks one out for you. You guys finish off the call and you put it on. You stare in the mirror  trying to find a rush of confidence. You push your dark blue strapless crop top up and stand up tall. You let out a deep breath. And pull your white-washed small Jean shorts down so you didn't look like a hoe. You look back into the mirror satisfied. You slip on your black converse.
You go back into the bathroom to straighten and dry your hair. You put on light makeup and go downstairs. Your mom looks at you and a smirk reveals on her face. She stands up and makes her way to the other side of the counter when you were sitting. She put her top weight on it and looks at you.
"Why did they invite you over" she raises her eyebrow. "You claim they're not interested.
You smile to yourself remembering what Grayson said over the phone to you while you were in the shower but you don't tell her. Instead you say
"They just invited me over so we could talk about the homework." Your moms laughs. "Whatever you say" she throws her hands up and walks back to the couch. You laugh and shake your head. You grab a water and walk out the door and get into your car.
You shoot Ethan a text asking for his address and he quickly responds. Right after you read it,
you start driving to their house.
