Chapter 1: First Day of School
Joe:(Gets up, Showers, eats Breakfast, and reads the Newspaper)
Grace:(Alarm goes off)(Gets dressed)(Goes to the Kitchen)Hi Dad.
Joe: Hi Grace. I made Breakfast.(Hands Grace a plate of Eggs, Bacon, Pancakes, and Fruit)
Grace: Thanks Dad.(Starts eating)
Joe: Grace, are you ready for today?
Grace: Nope!
Joe: Why?
Grace: It’s Middle School Dad! There are 6th, 7th, & 8th Graders there too!
Joe: Grace, you will do great! Oh, by the way, I will be Coaching 7th Grade Football & 8th Grade Boys Basketball during the 1st Semester of School. The 2nd Semester, I will be Coaching Girls Track & Cross Country!
Grace: You’re Coaching a Running Team!
Joe: Yes.
Grace: Count me out of the running team! I’m not a runner!
Joe: I know Grace. But, the running team is for 5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade!
Grace: I’m not doing it!
Joe I know.
Grace: Hey Dad?
Joe: Yes?
Grace: Can I have some milk?
Joe: Yes.(Hands Grace her milk)Grace, I have to leave early. I’m in charge of the Bus Riders this week in the mornings. I’ll see you there. Please don’t miss the bus!(Leaves)
Grace:(Finishes getting ready & goes to the Bus Stop)
Bailey: GRACE!
Grace: BAILEY!
Bailey: I wish you could come to my School!
Grace: Same here!
Bailey: I have to go. Bye Grace.
Grace: Bye Bailey.
Bailey:(Goes to her School)
Grace:(Gets on her Bus)
Tiffany:(A Girl who lives on the street and goes to a rich school as a 5th Grader) Well, Well, Well, who do we have here! Oh, it’s Grace! Grace, get a life!
Grace: Whatever.
Tiffany: Grace, your outfit is horrible!
Grace:(Ignores Tiffany)
(Bus Arrives At School)
Joe: Good Morning Bus Riders! Welcome to a new School Year! 8th Grade, enjoy this year. It’s your last year before High School! 7th Grade, You’re half way through this School! 6th grade, Welcome Back! 5th Grade, Welcome to Nautilus Middle School-Home Of The Sharks! We are a School on the Beach! Please go to the Gym, to get your schedule! Thank You!
