Drip drip drip
It seems to be raining outside and it's the type where it isn't too overbearing, but wasn't too light either. That perfect setting for multiple things such as relaxation, cozying up to a loved one, or just having random thoughts run through your head. It is honestly the perfect weather in my opinion, it's just so...freeing.
Drip drip drip
The apartment that I am in has much to be desired. Most others would be disgusted or would sneer at such a despicable living spot. It mattered little to me as it was the cheapest one I could find, all I had to do was put a bin underneath the leak from the ceiling. I just let out a sigh from my table.
Crash, plink, plink
Another sigh escapes my lips. I look at my hand as I cock my gun. I slowly raise it up to my head in silence. I press it against my temple and think in wonder if it would happen. I pull the trigger and my head rocks... Yet I am alive, I take the gun away from my head and look at it. A finger gun is what stares back. A dark chuckle starts coming from within
Thump, thump, click
It seems that the person who broke into my apartment is now behind me. My chuckle starts turning to mad laughter. I turn around to face my killer. He stares back in slight horror as he sees the mad gleam in my eyes. My laughter is just out of control, the man starts backing up. I start getting up and face him. His face is as pale as a ghost. I charge all the while laughing with a maniac grin on my face.
Boom, boom, thud
My body is face down on the cold floor. My eyes now stare parallel to the ground. I feel all the anger, resentment, jealously, loneliness, and pride slowly start to weaken. Just the void that seeps into my being. I look at my left hand only to see blood and it barely registers in my mind that it is mine.
Thump thump, thud
It seems my killer has fled my apartment. I weekly push myself so my back is against the ground. I sigh one of my last sighs. Atleast I had gotten my wish of wanting to die and they would never know that I've contemplated suicide.
Drip drip drip.
My eyes are now cloudy, it seems that I am crying, I am not sure if it's to celebrate that I'm finally free or that I had just died. My body is weakening by the second and each second causes the chances of living to go down catastrophically. I let out a sob as I hear the thudding of multiple feet. They had gotten there late, but it's also a gift. The first cop just looks at me, mouthing something before I ease into the void. I guess I can finally rest now.
