Part 9 - Trust?

*Charlotte’s POV*

Turned out the Jade, Em and Beth went to get drinks but then couldn’t remember the way back so they waited at the van until we came out. We got into the van with Loty, Em, and Beth sitting in the back, me , Jade and Nathan in the middle and Tom in the front whilst Jay, Max, Charley, Loty, Sim, Siva all got into the other van, I peered over at Nathan at Jade, they still hadn’t talked so I made a conversation with them both

“You guys seem quiet?” I asked them, Jade just smiled at me and Nathan shrugged, I sighed and Tom looked round to talk to me

“Charlotte, I need to talk to you later, remind me otherwise I’ll forget.”

“Okay” a massive smile appeared on his face, he nodded and looked at Nathan then Jade before looking back to me, he looked at his phone, typed away then nodded at me as my phone started buzzing, Beth, Loty and Em were stuck in a deep conversation about shoes and clothes, Loty studied fashion at sixth form and is hoping to peruse it. My phone loaded the text as I peered down at it,

From Tom:

Still not talking?

To Tom:

Nope, Jade’s really upset; maybe Em or Jay could talk to him about it?

From Tom:

Yeah, Jay would be better, considering the whole him dealing with her the other night.

To Tom:

Maybe, they were fine until the other day, he was coping well, but I don’t understand why he’d get another girl?

From Tom:

Don’t ask me!;)

I looked at Tom and smiled before undoing my seatbelt and opening the door, Nathan let out a sigh of relief and to be fair, Jade looked hurt. They needed to sort this out. I walked into the front room and sat down a few minutes later everyone else arrived, Jade was upstairs, Nathan was sitting on the corner of the sofa looking at his phone, probably on twitter. Jay was talking to Jade upstairs, either about Katy or Nathan, Max went to meet Zara and then they went for a walk, Siva and Sim was in the kitchen making more brownies, Charley was upstairs too but she was getting changed and having a shower. Me and Nathan could hear faint cries then they were overpowered by the laughs of Sim and Siva from the kitchen, he sighed again

“Nathan, you know you should go speak to her!”

“Yes! Loty already said this earlier!”

“So why don’t you then?”

“Because I don’t know what to say!”

“Just explain how you felt and don’t blame it on her! Then at least try to explain why you was upset, then got with another girl...-” he interrupted me

“Wait, how do you know that?”

“Erm, well, Jade kind of spoke to Jess then when they was on the way back from dinner, they see you with someone...”

“Shit. She was in Gloucester? She met my mum and Jess?”

“Yes Nathan...”

“Oh great.”

“Right, I’ll call Jay down then go talk to her, it’s bringing you both down and she needs you right now!”

“Fine” He got up, locked his phone and placed it in his pocket whilst I called Jay down. I looked at Nathan; he looked kind of scared to be honest. Jay came thumping down the stairs and into the living room, Nath walked past him and up the stairs. Jay decided to go to Katy’s leaving me in the front room, Tom walked in and asked me to follow him, so I did, we walked upstairs, passing my room, the 2 rooms the girls share, Nathan’s, Jay’s, Siva’s and then Jay’s room. We reached the last 2 doors and Tom pushed the furthest one open, leading up a few steps, I followed him, surprised at the layout of the house. We climbed the steps and I was surprised with the state of his room. I looked over and scanned the room, the wardrobe was closed and all the draws shut,  probably hiding the messiness behind that. There was nothing on the floor and the bed was made.. This couldn’t be Tom’s room?
