When we arrived at the flat, a nice older lady answered the door.
"Hello, miss. I'm looking for Sherlock Holmes." Moriarty said, in a surprising polite tone.
"Oh, yes. Um, Sherlock, dear, someone's at the door for you." The woman shouted up the stairs.
"Send them up, I have tea." A familiar voice yelled back.
I couldn't help but smile as we walked up the stairs.
As we entered, I immediately noticed a smiley face spray painted on the wall in yellow, just above a sofa, and a man sitting by the fireplace with his back to the door.
"Ah, Mr. Sherlock. Long time no see, huh buddy?" Jim's mouth twisted into a devilish smile. I'll admit that it drove me slightly crazy.
Sherlock set his tea down, silently and walked over to us.
In an awkward silence that lasted for at least a minute, Sherlock just stared blankly at Jim.
"How.... I saw you nearly blow your head off less than a foot away from me... there were parts or your damned brain on the roof." He finally broke the silence.
"You're a genius, figure it out for yourself." Jim smirked and made his way to an empty seat beside the desk as I followed.
"What's this, a new lover you've picked up?" Sherlock cut his eyes towards me.
"She's merely an assistant. Don't pay any mind to her."
"'Assistant', eh?" He walked over to me, as he licked his thumb and brought it to my neck, uncovering a hickey I had hidden with makeup.
I felt my face get red as I looked down. I heard him scoff.
Suddenly, a slightly older man walked in. He had short grey hair and his face looked as if it had seen many battles in its lifetime.
"Alright, well, Rosie's asleep and- Moriarty?!?" The man froze in his tracks when he saw Jim.
"It's been quite a minute since we've spoken, eh, Watson?" Jim was still smirking.
A/N
I'm not entirely sure where I want to go with this so you guys decide...
Comment on whether it should stay kinda PG-13 or if I should include some steamier content...😊
