Several years later....

Raku had begun work in Bonyari City Hall, as an average, run-of-the mill civil servant, except for one small detail...

"Hey!" Raku yelled. "Grub's ready, you lowlifes!"

Ryu and the Shuegumi members stumbled into the dining hall.

"Good morning, young master!" Ryu exclaimed.

"Excuse me?" Raku arched his eyebrow with a smile.

"Oops, sorry boss!" Ryu quickly covered his mistake.

And that small detail was that Raku had assumed leadership of his family's Yazuka clan after seeing that they didn't cause much trouble and actually played an important part in keeping other trouble out of town. Raku was assigned public safety post at city hall and worked daily to keep Bonyari safe through both official and underground channels.

"Hey! You're starting to look more comfortable now!" jested Raku's father, looking at his son wearing the Clan leader's robes. He was about to embark on a second honeymoon with Raku's mother, after years of leading the Shuegumi.

"You really are owning your new look too, Dad," joked Raku, referring to his father's large straw hat and bright Hawaiian shirt.

"Don't worry, I'll be back for the big day," reassured his father. "Thanks for handling everything!"

Across the city, in the Beehive mansion, Claude had assumed control ever since Chitoge's father Adelt stepped down. As he opened the invitation sitting on his desk, he hmphed with a slight smile.

"Order 4,000 bottles of wine!" he yelled. "This calls for a celebration befitting our illustrious organization!"

Across town in the Shueigumi stronghold...

I'd better get changed now, thought Raku to himself as started to switch out of his Shueigumi robes.

"You going somewhere, boss? OOF" exclaimed a Shueigumi member as Ryu elbowed him in the ribs.

"Don't you remember what's happening tomorrow?" hissed Ryu under his breath. "Master has to go make preparations!" Realizing his mistake the Shueigumi member who had spoken covered his mouth, face reddening.

"Good luck, boss!" chanted the Shueigumi members in unison as Raku left the house.

As Raku walks down the street...

"Hey, Shu... I sent you an invitation. Did you get it?" inquired Raku.

"Hey, Raku! I just opened it. Got it right here!," Shu said cheerily. "I wouldn't miss it for anything... especially since I'm the planner. You're gonna love the afterparty! It's gonna be a real blast!"

"Just don't go overboard, okay?" Raku said warily, but with a grin.

"Wow! So they're finally tying the knot!" Shu said excitedly. "Hey, Ruri, maybe you and me should get hitched too!"

"You'd better start saving then," Ruri said without much emotion. "It's not easy to get by as a teacher and a translator."

"Sure! Leave it to me!" exclaimed Shu with unwavering enthusiasm. At this, Ruri smiled. "And speaking of teachers...." Shu said...

"Why, hello Maiko! Yes, I did get the invitation!" said Mrs. Kyoko with a smile, carrying her two children in her lap. "I'm honored that you thought to invite me. Of course I'll be there! Besides, I want you to meet the kids."

"Yes! We can't wait!" exclaimed Shu, ecstatic.

At the Bonyari Confectionary...

"Phew!" Fu sighed. "Wow... marriage... that's heavy!"

"What, do you still feel weird that Ichijo picked my sister, and not me?" Haru laughed. "And anyways, I still never had any feelings for him!" she blurted defensivly.

"No, not that!" Fu said quickly. "It's just that I was thinking about that Kirisaki girl... but I know it was complicated. And they all seem so happy now."

"Yeah..." Haru muttered. "BUT WHEN'S MY PRINCE CHARMING GOING TO SHOW UP?!?!"

In China....

"Hello, Raku? Yes, I got it! Of course I'll be there. My workload as don isn't that heavy. Yeah, I'm feeling well, thanks! I can't wait to see everyone!" Yui hung up the phone, patting her swollen and pregnant stomach.

In America....

"Hello? Oh, it's you, Raku Ichijo! Calling for the young mistress? She should be in Japan by now." Tsugumi said.

"No, I was actually calling to see if you were coming for you-know-what," Raku said hopefully.

"I'd be there in Japan now, but I got a sudden call to do an event. I won't miss it though!" Tsugumi promised. As Raku teased her about her career path as a model, she retorted, "You're one to talk... boss of the Shueigumi!" she laughed. "Well, send my love to the mistress... and good luck!"

At the Tachibana household....

"This came in the mail, mistress," said Honda stoically, handing an envelope to Marika.

"Well, well!" Tachibana exclaimed. "I see Raku dearest is finally taking the plunge! Of course I'll attend. Send my RVSP please."

"At once, mistress." Honda bowed out of the room.

"Hello?" Chitoge said. "Of course I'll be there, bean sprout! Want me to whip up a wedding cake?"

"I'm not trying to poison the guests," joked Raku. "How's it been as a world-famous fashion designer?"

"It's been great!" said Chitoge with a smile. "Hey, you guys better wear the bride and groom outfits I sent!"

"Of course," Raku chuckled. "And I'm sure you'll make a beautiful maid of honor!"

"Save the flattery for Kosaki," laughed Chitoge. "I'll see you on the big day, then!"

At Tenku Highland....

"You're late!" teased Onodera as Rau stepped up to the top of the mountain. "By a whole five minutes!"

"Sorry," Raku laughed.

"So, everyone is coming?" inquired Onodera. "All of our friends?"

"Yep!" said Raku enthusiastically. "Your sister, Fu, Tsugumi, Shu, Miyamoto, Mrs. Kyoko, Yui, Marika, all of our families, and of course... Chitoge." He said the name with a smile.

As the pair opened Raku's pendant and placed the rings on each other's hand, they smiled at each other.

"Zawzse in love..."

"All right. Once again... Will you marry me... Onodera?" asked Raku.

"Yes." Onodera said firmly. "I'd love to. It's been a long journey to this point... A lot happened."

"You can say that again," Raku said with a smile, thinking of all the memories he, Onodera, and the others had created in high school. "C'mon let's go. We've got to prepare for the big day."

"One last thing, Ichijo..." Onodera said shyly. "Do you think.... We could have a first kiss before we got hitched?"

"Um... okay..." Ichijo's face reddened, realizing how nervous both of them were. And on top of that mountain, they held their first deep, passionate kiss, the product of a decade's worth of quieted love.
