Cally's POV

I watched him sleep for a while, he looked so innocent... "Just like... when we... found him..." I said out loud as the thought crossed my mind. I looked down at him and he shifted in his sleep. Did he hear me? I thought. No...

He jerked his head around and moaned. He started to sweat so I took his hoodie off as carefully as possible and put it down beside his school bag. "...hmm...where...?" he murmured to himself. "Are you-" I was cut off by him. This time he was talking. "What are you going to-" he jerked his head to the side as if he had just been slapped across the face. "Hello?" He whispered "Wait- mph!" He yelled.

Hmm... I thought. Oh! I know where to take him. I picked up his school bag, I put everything I had in the bag and slung it over my shoulder. I walked over to the IV and unwrapped it. I carefully grabbed the end of the needle and slowly pulled it out. He cringed as some blood came out and I looked away. He didn't wake up but he seemed to be more relaxed.

I picked him up and looked down the hall. Cost clear... I started to walk down the hall to the elevator. This is like mission impossible... I shook my head. Not right now, you need to focus. I got to the elevator just as a nurse started walking down the hall. The mission impossible theme song started to play in my head. I shrugged and just went with it.

When I got to the first floor, I quietly snuck to the back of the room and hid behind the couch. I lay Corbyn down and looked around the corner. The secretary was falling asleep; she was texting on her phone. I walked up to the front desk and waved in front of her, she didn't look up. I told her Corbyn was feeling better and we were going to go home. She waved me away and gave me the key. I grabbed it and picked up Corbyn. A security guard walked in and he went over to the secretary. I hurried out quickly and put him in the back of my car.

I drove him to my house and lay him down on my bed. He murmured and rolled over. I walked out of the room and then closed the door.

Corbyn's POV

I gasped and looked up. Wait... Where? I wasn't in the hospital bed anymore Am I still dreaming? I pinched myself. No... I looked down and realized I wasn't wearing my hoodie. I heard someone breathe. I looked over and saw Cally sleeping, peacefully, beside me. She was wearing a grey tank top and dark jeans; she looked so tired. "Erk...!" I moved away from her. What's going on? I thought.  She shifted to face me, still asleep. I looked over at her face. She opened her eyes and looked up at me smiling. I blushed and looked down.

"Hey... what's up?" she asked. "Where...?" I started. She silenced me by putting a finger to my lips. "I just took you home. I was really tired and I guessed I just fell asleep...After...making sure you were okay of course." I started to get up. "Hey. Sorry for startling you...I'll make breakfast." She stood up and walked out into the hall.

Hmm... I looked up at the ceiling and gasped. I remember...

Corbyn's dream

I was in a room. It was pitch black "Hello?" I called out into the darkness. A light flickered in the corner of my eyes. I tried to turn to face it but I was tied to a chair. The light shone in my face and I couldn't see who was behind it. It turned off as quickly as it turned on. I felt someone untie the ropes around my legs and my hands. "Where...who-" I was silenced by whoever it was.

"Okay... follow me..." The person whispered. "Who..?" In the light I could see he had dark brown hair and blue eyes. "My name is Luke... come on!" He got on the ground and pulled me down with him. We started crawling forward until we reached the wall. He turned on the light for a split second and touched the wall. "What are you going to-" he slapped me across the face "Shh. We aren't alone in here." he whispered. I heard a growling noise. A hatch opened and we crawled in as fast as we could.

Corbyn's POV

Is this what happened? I questioned. I got up and stood up. My hoodie was by my school bag and beside it I found a grey T-shirt lying on the floor. It had a picture of a wolf jumping through it; I shrugged. This is fine. I pulled it on and let the smell of waffles lead me to the kitchen.

Cally was cooking waffles in a waffle cooker on the counter. I sat up at the bar where she set the table and looked over at her. "Oh...Hey..." she said. She sounded tired. I must've kept her up... Wups.  My stomach rumbled and my throat felt dry. "The waffles will be ready in a minute." She said, as if she read my mind. "Do you have-" I was interrupted "Yeah in the fridge." I got up, grabbed my cup from the table and poured myself a glass of milk.

Cally's POV

I checked the waffles, they were almost ready. I looked over at Corbyn, he was waiting patiently. I took out a plate of 6 waffles and placed them on the table. I washed my hands and then grabbed the butter and the syrup from the fridge.

"Thanks." Corbyn said. I wonder if he's okay... "How are you?" I asked. He fidgeted in his chair and looked up. "Well... I think I've started remembering things." he said. "That's good..." I said distracted. What did he remember? He started cutting his waffles and then he looked up. I realized I was starring, I blushed and looked away. "Sorry zoned out for a sec..." I said.

"I mean like new things." Corbyn said excited.

"Okay so you remember your name... you're 14 and...your parents." I said.

"Yeah... but I think I've started to remember what happened...that night...when you found me...I think." He said.

"Well maybe if I tell you or talk about certain things, you'll remember stuff!" I said.

"Okay..." He trailed off.

"Well... My name is Cally." He smiled.

"I'm 16 years old and I don't...know...my parents." She took a deep breath "So I live with my brother." She whispered.

Corbyn's POV

I could tell this was hard for her. "So... do you play any sports?" I asked.

"I play soccer on the team for Jefferson. I'm in the Jefferson Wolves pack!" she said excited.

"I-I think I used to play soccer too! We were the Trent Tigers." I said. I'm remembering things!

"Good job! You're starting to remember." She said smiling.

I finished the rest of my waffles, happy with myself.

"Oh by the way you'll be starting soon." She said

"hmm..?"

"School at..." She looked down at the papers in front of her. "Jefferson with me."

I almost choked on my last bit of waffle. *cough* *cough*

"School?!"
