Tears brimmed his eyes. He tried to stifle the sound of his tears and ragged breath by placing his sleeve over his mouth. "please understand"

Something inside of sumire changed. Seeing the way they loved him made him realize somrthing that has been deeply buried away.
The change was not sudden it was slow creeping into his chest like a parasite.
