Selena POV
"Selena wake up! It's the first day if school at your new middle school!" Mom said.
"Uuuhhhggg!" I said.
"Selena, I know you are scared but you won't be the only new kid."
"Really? Everybody's already going to have friends from George Washington Elementary! Now at George Washington Middle School nobody is going to want new friends!" I practically yelled.
"Selena!" Mom said, "calm down! I've never seen you this fired up! What's wrong?"
"Nothing Mom. Just nerves."
"Okay. Get ready the bus comes in an hour.
"Okay." I said.
"Love you." She said.
"love you, too."
When she left I hopped out of bed went on my phone and texted Maria, my best friend from Grand Prairie. 'I miss you!!! First day of school:('
'Me too! Good luck! You'll do great!!' She texted back instantly.
'Thanks!!! I hope so! Gtg!'
'Bye!'
I hope Maria was right! I got ready, eat breakfast and left for the bus.
