I, Maeve Decker took a seat in AP Calculus taking notes with my favorite baby blue mechanical pencil when Maddox Holbein the all star QB walked in wearing a navy blue T-shirt that hugged his upperbody, a dark grey beanie that complemented his dark green eyes and tan skin along with dark grey joggers that hugged his immense leg muscles. He was just like any other jock in a romance book. but he's very quiet and only talk to people he knows and is very polite.
"Mr. Holbein late again?" Mr. Brown our calculus teacher asked
"Sorry Mr.Brown my uhhh alarm clock didn't go off." he replied while his eyes wandered around the room looking for an empty desk. Not surprised I though looking up from my notes.
"Mr. Holbein please come talk to me after class."
Maddox walked over to all his athletic buddies and started talking about football practice after school.
"All right everybody please get out your calculus books and finish answering the problems 79-86."
I was the first one to finish. So I took out my phone checked the time 10 minutes remaining so I decided to pull out my custom made Apple AirPods and listen to my Spotify playlist. When somebody tapped my shoulder. Usually when somebody has in earbuds the don't want to be bothered I thought.I paused my music took one out ear bud and look at Maddox "The squads going to Mod Pizza at lunch want to come?" He whispered I texted my best friend Cherish Ellis.
"Hey C want to go eat at Mod pizza for lunch the squads going?
"Yummm that sound amazing right now!"
"Are you in?" Maddox asked
" yeah. We'll meet you there."
"Sweet can't wait." He responded with a wink
