Naiomi
Ring! Ring! Ring! My clock alarmed me that is time to wake up and get ready for school. I shut off my alarm and headed to the bathroom.
I am totally glad that I am a senior this year. High school wasn't a bad experience for me until this year. It seems as if once I became a senior, everything went left.
Well I wouldn't say everything. There were a few good outcomes such as being in the top ten of my class and becoming the dance team's captain.
Right beside me was my twin brother, Domonique. He is the older twin by a few minutes. He can be a pain in the ass of a brother sometimes. He is so overprotective of me and our little sister, Paris. He is one of the greatest ballers on the basketball team.
Paris is only a year younger than us. She is the baby so of course we are so protective over her. We don't play no kind of games when it comes to her. She can hold her own weight but we are definitely ten toes down behind her.
I glanced at myself in the mirror and took a final look at my outfit for the day. I was satisfied with it. I wore a white v-neck with black skinny jeans and black and white lowtop vans. I accessorized with silver hoops and name-necklace my dad bought me. I let my curly bundles hang loose. I grabbed my brush for my hair & walked out of the bathroom.
"GoodMorning babygirl!" my father greeted me with a kiss on the forehead. "GoodMorning pops!" I responded with a smile. "You look beautiful darling."
"Thanks Dad!" I headed to my room and grabbed my backpack and purse. I then headed downstairs to greet the rest of my family. "GoodMorning Everyone!"
"GoodMorning Sweetheart!" my mother said sweetly as I hugged her.
"Sup kiddo!" my twin nodded.
"Heey big sisss!" my sister said greeting me with a hug.
My family has quite of a strong bond. We're not a perfect family. We do argue especially my siblings and I. We can have a bit of struggles but that's normal. No matter what, we always have eachother's back.
"You kiddos ready to go?" Domo asked.
"Yeah, let's ride."
"Have a good day babies. I love you!" Our mother said.
"Love you too!" We said in unison and walked out the door to Domo's car.
We got in, buckled up, and took off to school. I grabbed my phone out of my purse and seen a text from my boyfriend, Jacob. Now he's the real pain in the ass.
Babe💞💍: Morning bae, meet me by my locker .
Me: GoodMorning baby and okay.
Jacob and I been together since our junior year in high school. He is a real sweetheart and very romantic. He can sometimes be a little too aggressive when he is upset. I try my best not to piss him off.
However, he is the star quarterback on the football team. Every girls' dream guy if you ask me. He stands tall with a nice brownskin tone. He has the smile to take a girl's breath away.
Of course I have to deal with groupie females being all over him. I know I have his heart so there is nothing to worry about. At least I think there isn't.
As we pulled up to Columbia High School, I plugged in my earphones and scanned through my playlist. "Have a good day. See y'all later. Love y'all." I said before departing from my siblings.
"You too. Love ya too kiddo." Domonique responded.
"Love you more sissy pooh." Paris said as she walked away meeting up with her friends.
I walked through the double doors and straight to my locker where I was greeted by my bestfriends, Justice and Londyn. "Heeeyyyy Nai!!" Justice hugged me.
"Hey girly! Wassup Lon!" I hugged her.
"Hey boo." She replied.
We began to chat about the dance team and the new routine we were creating for the upcoming football game.
These girls have been by my side since elementary school. We've always been tight. Our bond is stronger than anything. We've literally done almost everything together. Dance. Cheer. Softball. Nothing can come between the three of us.
While chatting it up with my girls, I completely forgot about meeting Jacob by his locker. By the time I realized it, he already made his way to mine. He cleared his throat interruping the conversation and grabbing our attention. "Naiomi, can I talk to you for a sec?" he asked. "Yeah. Sure." I replied nervously.
"We'll see you in class girly." Lon said as her and Justice walked away. "Okay hun."
"What happened to you coming by my locker?" Jacob questioned. "Sorry babe. I forgot. I got caught up in a conversation with Justice and Londyn." I grabbed my history notebook out of my locker.
"So now you're little friends are more important that me huh?"
"Jake, no. Please don't start the bullshit this early in the morning."
"Bullshit?!" he pushed me up against the locker. "When I ask you to be somewhere, you be there! You got that?!" he said sternly.
"Ow! Jacob stop. You're causing a scene." I felt a sharp pain shoot through my back.
"I don't care about that. You're always doing this stupid shit Naiomi. I just wanted to start my morning by seeing your face but instead you wanna chit-chat with your little friends."
"Jacob, I don't have time for this. We're going to be late to class. Now move." I rolled my eyes. The hallways were beginning to clear out.
He pushed me against the locker. "Damn, I'm just trying to love you and you keep dissing me Naiomi."
"How the hell am I dissing you Jacob!?"
"Watch yo tone towrds me!" He gripped my neck.
"J-Jacob stop. I c-can't b-breathe," I managed to say. "Stop fucking trying me Naiomi!" his grip got tighter. "I-I-I'm s-sorry b-ba-baby." He let me go. I gasped trying to catch my breath. "It won't happen again." I looked down as my eyes begin to water.
"I'll see you later princess." he kissed my cheek and walked to his class. I stood there with the dumbest look on my face. I wiped my face and made my way to class. I was hoping no one saw that.
I walked into history and found my seat. The only thing I could ask myself is why. Why me? What did I do wrong? I felt terrible so I laid my head on the desk.
"Are you okay?" someone asked me.
