Angel was back in Washington making videos. Her views were skyrocketing but she felt like she was missing a piece of herself. She missed Ella like crazy and Ella had been a little distant since she'd got home. It worried Angel a LOT. She brought it up when she was facetiming Ethan and he said Grayson was acting a little strange too. They wondered if the two of them had some words or something. Angel and Ethan had started talking almost every morning and every night. They had hit it off. So much so that Ethan convinced Angel to come back to LA to visit.

Angel landed in LA with the biggest smile on her face as she walked out to the baggage claim. As she was waiting she felt two muscular arms wrap around her. She turned around and was greeted by a cheerful Ethan.

"how was your flight beautiful?"

Angel's cheeks had a pink hue to them as she replied, "It was great! Thanks for picking me up."

Ethan had a calm demeanor as the chat progressed, "It's no problem. I have wanted to hang out since you left."

Damn it, Ethan thinks to himself. Way to make a total idiot of myself. She probably thinks I'm a loser.

When in reality Angel was beaming over the fact that Ethan had missed her. Maybe he missed me as much as I missed him.

They retrieve her suitcase and headed to the twins' house.

Ella had spaced herself from everyone ever since she and Grayson had hooked up. She was worried he wanted more than a one night stand because he was constantly texting her afterward. He even started posting more thirst traps. When he'd tried to facetime her, she'd always make up an excuse so she didn't have to. He even went as far as trying to get Ethan to facetime her so he could talk to her and make sure she was okay. Grayson just wanted to talk about what had happened that night. Finally the day of Angel's visit he had got Ella to crack by telling her "if you don't talk to me I'm telling Ethan and Angel why you're being so ia."

Ella had never called someone so fast in her life. Grayson answered immediately with a snarky comment "oh, wow, your phone does work." Ella was pissed. "look Grayson, don't tell them. It was a one-time thing plain and simple. We aren't going to end up together so there's no reason to tell them." Grayson was kind of hurt. He wanted to take Ella on a proper date because he's not really the type to only hook up. He actually had had a little crush on Ella. He thought the sex meant more, and he thought she felt the same way. He realized he had been quiet for a few seconds so he finally responded "okay, but come to LA to surprise Angel and Ethan. They're worried about you and I know Angel has been telling Ethan she thinks she's losing you." Ella told him she'd think on it and hung up.

She felt so bad because it seemed like she had hurt Grayson. He was starting to become one of her best friends until they complicated things. Impulsively she packs a bag and decides to take Grayson up on his offer. However, she texts James and asks to stay with him. James said yes to her staying at the sister sanctuary and told her she would get to meet his brother Ian.

Before she boards her flight she checks her phone to tell Grayson she's coming but he had already texted her something. It read "was I really nothing but a one night stand to you?" Her stomach drops and before she could respond she had to be on the flight.

When she touches down in LA she makes the decision to just get an Uber to James' and sort stuff with Grayson later. When she gets to his apartment building she was greeted with a warm hug and James' happy demeanor. James excitedly says "Hi kitty girl I'm glad you're back so you can meet my brother Ian! He's a lowkey fan of yours so he might be a little shy at first." James was swiftly cut off by a taller male who appeared from the corner saying "James shut up you're going to make me seem uncool." The stranger introduced himself "Hi, I'm Ian, and don't worry, I'm not a crazy fan or anything, I just enjoy your content." Ella had butterflies. Ian was cute. He was tall, dark, and handsome. She wondered if he was gay since he dressed so proper. She realized she hadn't said anything so she quickly said: "hey what's up. No worries man as long as you don't try to cut off some of my hair and sell it on eBay we're cool."

Everyone burst out laughing at Ella's weird remark as she made her way inside. She was so caught up in Ian she realized she never texted Grayson back. She decided texting him wouldn't be a proper thing to do to respond to something like that so she excused herself for a few minutes to make a phone call.

Grayson was at the warehouse squaring up with the punching bag to let off some steam. He can't believe Ella left him on read like that. All of a sudden he hears his phone ringing and her caller ID for facetime popped up. He reluctantly answered it after wiping his face. "Hey Grayson," she said. He saw her gulp. He couldn't tell if she was flustered, nervous, or both. He just gave a small "hey" and waited for her to start talking. "I never meant to lead you on. You were already becoming one of my best friends and I was so excited about that. Then we had to go and complicate things with hormones. I never meant to do any damage. I just thought that what we had just was some fun, and i'm so sorry." He can tell she's being genuine and realizes he feels the same way she does and lets out a loud sigh and slightly smirks "just some fun huh?" he says playfully. She laughs and says "yes just some once in a lifetime fun, now can we go back to being friends, are we cool?" Grayson feels like a weight has been lifted off his chest as he says "cool as a cucumber." Ella says a snarkily back "oh my god you're such a dork. I'm hanging up now. Bye gutter slut." With that, she hung up and went back to spend time with James and Ian.

Meanwhile, Ethan and Angel had snuck out to a nice restaurant for dinner. It might as well have been a proper date but neither party would admit it was. While Ethan went and paid for the food Angel got on snap and saw that Ella had posted about getting on a plane and wondered where she went. She didn't study it too long and put her phone away when Ethan returned. They got in the car giddy as could be and listened to music on the way back to the house. When Ella told James no one knew of her arrival or where she was, he devised a plan to have a movie night at his place that night and everyone rode over. Ella hid on James' bed until she got the text that everyone was there. She stood up and called down to everyone "you whores thought you could watch scary movies without me?" Angel lights up like a Christmas tree and is waiting at the bottom of the stairwell for Ella and is the first to wrap her in a huge hug.

Everyone picks spots on the couch. James and Grayson are on the part near the window, and Ethan is beside James. Angel is at the bend of the couch and is between Ethan and Ella while Ian is beside Ella.

Grayson was lowkey a little bitch when it came to scary movies and would kinda turn towards James if something scared him. When he would turn away from the projector, he noticed how close Ella and Ian were getting. He was the tiniest bit jealous, to say the least, so he wrapped his arm around James while yawning to make sure to get her attention. Ella sent him a look and cuddled up into Ian more. Ian was shook at how quickly Ella became cuddly, but he didn't mind. If he was honest, scary movies made him want to cuddle. It was about the middle of the movie when a sex scene came on. Angel and Ethan already had stolen quite a few kisses here and there. Ella felt Grayson's eyes on her, but Ian was being squirmy so she looked up at him and could tell the movie worked him up a little. She went in for a kiss, and he kissed her back, but it was quick and short, almost urgent due to everyone surrounding them. Ella hoped Grayson hadn't seen, but he did. He saw it all. Needless to say, he knew he was defeated and any hope he had to try and pursue her, diminished. It really was just a one night stand.
