Lizzy's POV
I woke up around 11:00 am. I turned over to notice Hayes still asleep. I shook my head and got out of bed carefully. I made my way down to the kitchen to grab some Advil and a glass of water.
I make my way upstairs and put it on the nightstand on Hayes's side of the bed. I miss his forehead and make my way back downstairs.
I start to cook up some breakfast for all the people who stayed from the party last night.
I soon heard footsteps coming down the stairs.
"Good morning babe..." Hayes said in his raspy morning voice. "Morning babes, how's the hangover?" "Awful! Never let me get that drunk again pleaseeee..." he whined. "Don't worry babe, I won't." I kissed his cheek and set a plate of food in front of him.
"I have something to show you when you're done eating babe." I said a bit nervous. "Sure babe. I'll be right up. I nodded even though his back was turned to me.
I ran up the stairs and yelled thru the hallway. "EVERYONE UP NOWWWWWW!!! BREAKFAST IS DOWNSTAIRS. EAT IT OR BEAT IT!!!" I laughed.
"Not sooo loud Lizzy..." Kels whined. "Shouldn't of drunk last night princess.." I laughed. I went to clean up the room me and Hayes stayed in. I soon went to his bedroom and got his gift from under the pillow. I was honestly nervous and scared of his reaction.
Few minutes later
"So what's up babe?" Hayes said thru the door frame. "I have this late present for you Hayes." I smiled. He did as well. He came and sat next to me.
He opened it like a small child on Christmas morning. His smile still plastered on his face.
Soon that smile disappeared.
"Well? What do you think?" I asked scared.
"I have no idea what to say..." he sighs. "I can't do this right now Lizbeth..." He never calls me by my actual name unless he's mad.
He got up and left. Without saying another word.
I grabbed the frame. Tears falling onto it.
He doesn't know what to say now, but what if he doesn't say anything. What if he walks out on us?
