Celesti's POV
"So, what am I supposed to do as an apprentice?" I ask. I was really bored as everyone else was doing paperwork. Amu and Carter were playing Gold Fish and I really didn't feel like asking all those different questions to get a card.
"Well, doing paperwork is the school part of our job as guardians. It's not all fun and games," Nadeshiko tells me.
"Yaya hates doing paperwork," Yaya groans as she stamps the papers. Kukai falls asleep at the table.
"Kukai!" Yaya hits him. "You can't sleep. That's not fair!" She character changed. Now she was throwing that giant rattle of hers around.
"Yaya! Quit it!" Tadase ducks under the table as the rattle came his way. I walk over to her and start whispering in her ear.
"You quit and I'll pay for ice cream," I smile at her. The rattle disappeared and she grinned wildly.
"Yes! Yaya likes!" Yaya jumps around all happy.
"I'm glad," I sigh.
"You're like my prince!" Yaya hugs me.
"Prince?" Tadase gets a huge red aurora.
"Our King has returned!" Kukai laughs.
"You still support him?" Amu asks.
"Is everyone here a weirdo?" I look around.
"At least they aren't like you," Yukie rolls her eyes.
"Why are you so mean to me!" I yell back at her.
"Do not call me a measly prince! I am KING! I will rule the world!" Tadase starts his laugh, one foot on the chair with the flags in the background.
"All he needs is a crown," Carter adds. Miki takes out her pad and draws the larger version of Kiseki's crown. It appears in life and Kukai places it on Tadase's head.
"I will rule!" Tadase yells.
"Sheesh," I sigh.
"All hail the King! All hail the King!" everyone starts. I groan, but soon join in. Until Tadase returns to himself.
"I'm sorry. You probably don't like me..." Tadase goes into the corner.
"I'll get him," Amu sighs.
"Is he always like this?" I ask Kukai.
"It's not everyday that we see our king," Kukai smiles at me.
"Don't you want to be king sometimes? You are the oldest,"I look at him.
"No one could be king but Tadase. He has the character for it," Kukai says.
Temari and Johnny fly into the greenhouse.
"What's wrong?" Nadeshiko asks.
"We sense X eggs! And a lot of them!" Temari and Johnny say at the same time.
"X eggs?" I ask curious.
"We will have to fill you in later. X eggs are the real reason we're guardians," Tadase runs out the door with the rest of us close behind.
