Chapter 4

Tomorrow is the first day of school for me. It is the middle of the year. I'm going to be honest: I'm a little exited. I just want to see James again. After yeaturday I didn't talk to him or anything. I didn't get his number.

I went into the bathroom and got ready for the day.

"Kids. Come to the living room"my mom shouted to us. I went down the stairs. The rest of my family was already in the living room and sitting on the couch. Oh god! is this that 'family meeting'?

"Now some if you have asked how we could afford this amazing house." my mom began. Ugh! I was right.

"So what happened is that we moved here because of a job. And that job is something really important-" Chris cut her off

"What was the job?"

"I'm getting there. So we moved here because I'm going to get a job. First I have to go to college. Right now your grandparents are paying for all of this. I need to graduate college and after that I will be a docter!" she exclaimed excitedly.

"Great now can I go take a walk?" I asked annoyed. I wanted to get out of the house. And I saw a little park on our way here. My mom sighed.

"Okay" she replied. I grabbed my bag and left.

I got a text from Ashley 'hey I'm sorry about the other day. So what's up?' I replied 'oh it's fine. What were you doing anyways? and I'm going in a walk' Ashley said 'lol. I was just... busy i'll talk to you about that later. I better let you go though and enjoy your walk. Bye' 'bye'.

I turned off my phone and put it in my back pocket. Then somebody hugged me from behind. I broke away immediately. Without thinking strait I turned around and punched the guy in the face. He held the place where I had hit him and winced. Oh my god! it was James! oops.

"Omg I'm so sorry James!" I apologized.

"No. No it's fine I just shouldn't have done that..."

"No. No no no. This is my fau-" he interrupted me.

"No it's fine. I'm not mad. I'm just stupid. Wow! you have a good punch!"

"Here let me see" i said he lifted up his hand. I looked at his face. Oo it was so soft and tender... the place where I hit him was already bruising. It was swollen and had a scratch on it.

"Oh wow. This looks pretty bad..." I said.

"I'm fine. Where are you going?"

"Um the park. I guess"

"Ok I'll come too" I opened my mouth about to reject but the closed it. I thought it might be nice to have him with me. "Ok" then I got a text. I grabbed my phone and looked at wht it said.

'Hey babe. I miss you! what are you doing?' oh no! it was Mat! I completely forgot about him! But so what he was miles away. I won't ever see him again.

"What was that about?" James asked. "Nothing" I said and put my phone away. __________________________ (at the park)

" So why did you come to the park?" James asked me. We were swinging slitly on the swingset.

" I just needed to get away from my family. U know?" He nodded he wouldn't stop looking at me.

"Want to come meet mine?" Hm. Not a bad idea. I did want to hear is smooth sexy voice more.

"Yeah that will be awesome" I said smiling. He kissed my cheek. Not just a little peck. It felt really soft and sincere. We got up and walked to his house. ____________________ please vote and comment 😄
