Chapter 1 : Group Work

MY POV ( Lee Hyemi )

"Hey Minha! Let's go to class alright?" I said to my bestfriend and she nodded.

As I entered, I saw the love of my life, Luhan. I've had a crush on him for roughly 3 years. No one knows about it except for Minha.

My eyes were glued to him talking with his friends, laughing. Gosh, I love his side profile.

I accidentally bumped into someone. When I looked up, it was Chanyeol.

"Mian..." He said. I just smiled and we both went back to our seats.

When the teacher arrived, I turned and I saw Chanyeol looking at me.

That's weird. Anyways, I just shook that thought of and focused in class.

"Now, we will pair you guys up..."

Cool. I wonder who will I be paired with? Luhan maybe? <3 Probably not...

"and.. Park Chanyeol with Lee Hyemi."

Chanyeol? I hope he's good!

CHANYEOL'S POV

Oh, I'm pairs with Hyemi? Sounds okay. To bad I'm not pairs with Eun Ji, my crush. She's always with Luhan. I wonder, do both of them like each other?

Then, I saw Hyemi looking at Luhan and sighing. Does Hyemi like Luhan?

MY POV

I sighed. He's with Eun Ji again...

Wait. Is Chanyeol looking at Eun Ji? Does he like her?

"Yah." Minha nudged me. "I have an idea. You can use Chanyeol as your wingman."

"What? How?" I asked and she giggled, shaking her head.

"Silly Hyemi. Well, Chanyeol's friends with Luhan right? Well, since you and Chanyeol are partners, you can ask him to help you with Lujan and you'll help him with Eun Ji!" She exclaimed. She looks pretty excited.

"Omo! That's a brilliant idea! I'm so lucky to have such a smart best friend! Kumawo!" I hugged her.

-Lunch Time-

As I walked out, Chanyeol approached me.

"Hi, what brings you here?" I smiled.

"To get your number." He said seriously with his deep voice. He was so daring.

"Ex..excuse me?"

"Oh, to get your number for the project you know.."

"Right.. here you go" I was so embarrassed.

"Thanks, see ya soon!"

CHANYEOL'S POV

As I walked to my lunch table, all the boys were looking at me.

"What?" I asked. There was nothing

in my face, at least that's what I remember.

"No way, did our Chanyeol just ask a girl for her number?" Xiumin asked.

"Aigoo, we're so proud of you!" Chen squealed. How manly.

"Yea, I did. But it was just a small matter." I said calmly.

The boys went ooh and aah.

Why are they being like this?

Right! I forgot to tell them it's for the project.

"Wait. You guys thought I liked her? No, no. I took her number because we're partners for a group project. That's all." I exhaled.

"Oooohhhh. That's why." They all said in unison.

I just chuckled and shook my head.
