Fun, joyful times
Children running in circles laughing
Adults smiling down at their kids
The music
Always happy
Allowing bright smiles on everybody's faces
The merry-go-round and Ferris wheel
Spinning around for ages
Never tiring out
Every single day,
The park would get so many excited faces
So many tears from kids who didn't want to leave.
All of that was gone
Rides destroyed, grass was pulled out
Rubble was everywhere you stepped
Nothing was left to imagine
That there were actually smiles roaming the area
This is the future, not the past.
