Chapter Four :)

Nathan knows that I don't like flying. I've been to America with the boys before and I hated it. Nathan sat there and held my hand through the whole flight secretly. That's when I started to get feelings for him. 

No, no, Katie stop it. STOP IT RIGHT NOW.

Nathan's POV

We sat on the plane and I grabbed Katie's hand as soon as the plane started to move. I knew she didn't like flying since the previous experience, but it didn't help control my feelings for her. I've liked her for a long time, but I've been too scared to tell her in case she doesn't feel the same. And Tom might disapprove and if we went out behind his back and he found out, well yeah, that would break my heart. 

'So you alright beautiful?' I said trying to her mind off of things, 'Yeah' she replied as she let go of my hand and started fiddling with her bag. 'I have a present for you' she said, he chocolate eyes twinkling in the sun as the plane sliced up the sky. 'Me?' I said with a shocked expression on my face. 'Don't act too shocked babe, after all you are my best friend' she said as she handed me a bag. Best friends. Those words keep replaying in my head. That's all we will ever be. I sighed as I opened the bag. Katie looked upset. 'Don't you like it Nath?' she said. 'No Katie, I love it thank you' I said as I pecked her on the cheek, her soft skin reflecting from my lips. It's just what I was after, a new hat. This is special because she chose it herself. It was black and it had my name written on it in gold stitching. I placed it on my head and pouted at her, she laughed at me. Her pearly whites always make me get butterflies, her cute little dimple made me want to kiss her. 

I moved closer to her. I made sure Tom wasn't looking before I made my move.
