All 4 of us had lunch 5th period. Me and Maddy met up with the boys on our way to the food court. "Let me buy you girls lunch." Jason said with a smirk. I could tell Joe was a little mad that Jason was buying me lunch. "Ok." Me and Maddy say with a smile. That's one thing I already hate about this school, you have to pay for lunch everyday. Like who has money to do that?! We found a table and sat down. As you coiled probably guess, me and Joe sat next to each other while Jason and Maddy sat across from us. We talked as we ate our lunch. I had gotten a grilled cheese while the others got pizza. "Do y'all want to come over to our house after school." Joe asked after finishing his pizza. "Yeah but we have to ask." Maddy said. I took out my phone and texted Cayden. I asked him if I could go to the twins house after school. Shortly after I texted him he replied with a yes. "I can go." I said to the boys. "I will call my mom after school." Maddy said while standing up to go throw her trash away. The 4 of us talked until the passing period bell. Time for 6th period.
Jason's P.O.V.

"Dude I think I'm catching feelings for Maddy." I whispered to Joe. We were in 6th period sitting in the back of the class. The girls were in the front. "Jason. Brotha. It's obvious." Joe said trying not to laugh. "Oh shut up Joseph." I said giving him a glare. Maddy is just so, so perfect. She is beyond sweet and caring. I've never met a girl like her. She's so different from the rest. She is so cute. Jason. Focus. You just met her this morning. The bell rang. I get up and rush to my locker. I pull my phone out and text my best friend Chase. He lives in Cali but we talk almost everyday.

Jason: CHASE KEITH!!
Chase: JASON WAUD!!
Jason: Dude I met this girl this morning. Her name is Maddy. I think I'm falling for her.
Chase: Oml Jason.
Jason: Chase she's just so perfect!
Chase: Well if she's so "Perfect" y don't u send me a pic of her?
Jason: I will once I get one.
Chase: okay lmao. Just send it when u get it.
Jason: Okay. Bye Chase!

I rush to 7th period. When I finally get there I sit down in the back of the class. Two minutes later Maddy sits down in the desk next to me. "Hey Jay Jay!" She said with a sweet smile. I can't get over how cute she is. "Hey Maddy!" I say. The teacher walks in and stood facing the class. "Hello class. Now I know it's only the second day of school but we are starting a project. You will be put into partners. Except your partners will be chosen at random." The teacher says. Great. Hopefully I'm not it's someone I don't like. She passed out notecards and told us to write out names on them. When everyone finished she collected them and put them into a basket. "I will be pulling names now." She said with a fake smile. "Here we go. Bella and Desiree. Erik and Michelle. Claire and Caitlyn. Evan and Mark. Dominic and Kylie. Amber and Jason R. Thomas and Daniel. Prisha and Frank. And last but not least Jason W. and Maddy. Those will be your partners so don't be butt hurt. Maddy's face lit up. I could tell she was happy. She looked at me and smiled. I'm so glad I'm partners with her. The teacher explained the project. I think every science class is doing this project I think. I wonder if Tyler and Joe are partners.
School we finally over. We all met up outside of the side doors. Maddy pulled her phone out and called her mom. "Ok thanks mom! Love you!" Maddy said and then hung up the phone. "I can go!" Maddy said. We all started walking towards our house. "We live so close." Tyler said pointing to her house. "Wow. We do." Joe said with a shocked look on his face. We crossed the street and I grabbed my keys from my backpack. I unlock the front door and we all step inside. No one is home. I saw a note on the fridge saying the my parents and sister went to our grandparents house.
