Stepping in, the doors closed behind me as I stretched my muscles to continue my project. "Okay, I'm ready." I smiled and began to work.
"Took you long enough" Connor stepped out of the shadows. I rolled my eyes, not even looking at my best friend. "Shut up, you big goof." Laughing, he rushed over to my side to see what was happening.
"You sure this is for his own good?" He asked me, crossing his arms.
I stopped working and heaved out a sigh. Shrugging my shoulders, I answered. "It's for the best. Who knows what's gonna happen when I'm going to be gone." I saw him frown in sadness and he hugged my side.
The brunette patted my back softly, "Don't say that Midoriya-san. He's just a kid—"
"Yeah, a kid who's going to be depressed because he lost his sister because of some stupid disease!!!" I rested my forehead onto the table, crying my feelings out.
He bit his lip, "The doctor didn't do anything?"
"There was no cure" I replied, sniffing silently.
Connor stayed silent for a moment at my answer.
I then wiped my tears with my arm, "I—...I'm sorry. I shouldn't treat you like that as a friend." My best friend hugged me once again. "Hey, it's going to be okay. If you die, then, I'll die along with you" He grinned at me.
My face cringed as I stared at him. "Please don't—"
He wiggled his eyebrows in a funny way. One of my eyes twitched in annoyance, "Jeez."
"What? I was just trying to cheer you up." Connor chuckled. I huffed, pushing him away slightly laughing. "Well you failed. Miserably"
