Will's pov

after Y/n tells me everything, we decide to just forget about it for now and head over to the quarry. the ride there was silent, mainly on my part. i mean, can you blame me? like what do you say to something like that?! anyway, we arrive at the quarry, and i feel my heart stop at the sight of Eddie. i drop my bike, and can't help but stand there and stare at him.

"Jesus christ you two, what the hell took you so long??" Richie yells, greeted by Y/n with a hug. i, on the other hand, roll my eyes and walk past him and over to Bill and Eddie, earning hugs from both of them. "Doesn't matter, all that matters is we're here alright?" "W-we're happy th-that y-you could ma-make it" Bill smiles, looking over at Y/n. We all strip down and walk over to the edge of the cliff, looking down at the 50-foot drop with pure anxiety. "So, who's going first?" Stan asked, causing us to all stare at each other in a very awkward silence. Out of nowhere Y/n runs out from behind us and yells, "I WILL!", jumping off the cliff. Richie groans. "We just got showed up by a GIRL!"

one-by-one we all jumped off the cliff, Stan going last which surprised nobody. "CHICKEN!" Richie and Eddie yell, Eddie climbing on top of Richie's shoulders. Stan pulls me up on top of his, and me and Eddie both struggle to steady ourselves. After shoving each other around for a while, I lost. But that's ok, I know i'm not the strongest person. We swim for a little while longer, and decide to take a break. we go over to some rocks and chill out, and it didn't take long for everyone to stare at Y/n as she was sunbathing. That is, everyone except Eddie. We were sitting separate from the rest of the group and sitting in silence for a while.

"Can I ask you something?" Eddie asks, breaking the silence. I nod, noticing curiosity swimming in his beautiful eyes. "Sure.." I nod, feeling my heart begin to race. "o-ok, i don't know how to ask this without making it awkward, but....are you-" "yea." i smirk at his nervousness. "yea, i'm gay." Eddie's eyes widen, but then he sighs. "i-i....i'm sorry..i just" I place my hand on top of his, gently squeezing it. We both blush, and he looks right at me and says-"I think i'm in love with you"
