he sat at the cafeteria table alone. unlike other times his company was away. meaning he was left alone to sulk over his distasteful lunch. he saw the usual tables sat conversing rathar loudly but he had gotten use to it. He just blended into the noise.

suddenly people stopped talking and all eyes shifted to the doorway for a second but out of scare they turned back to their friends but stayed an awful lot quiter than before. he saw a girl wearing rippled and holed stockings with shorts over and a plain old black shirt, standing at the doorway. her eyes were covered by heavy black liner. she had an obvious bulge on the side of her socks and somehow he saw a portion of a cigarette pack. the scowl she wore on her lips made it clear she didn't enjoy the stare she got. she moved towards the half table in the corner and sat down there and observed the people around her. as creepy as that sounded she just sat there doing damn nothing.

quite some time after the sound of the bell was obvious while ringing through the walls of the cafeteria. everybody shifted out of their seats and so did he. he saw the girl still sat there. he moved towards her table slowly rethinking his past decision. she looked at him with an expression he couldn't quite decipher. she just stared at him and said nothing.

"hi i'm jess-" she cut him off immediately.

"do you even know who i am" she didn't say it as a questioning.

"uhm no. but i was willing to find out now." he said with quite the nervous face.

"go back to class." she voiced.

"wait at least tell me your name." he asked.

"lucifer." she said.

"like satan?" he asked with scare in his voice.

"exactly like satan." she said with a smirk on her lips.

after, he did as told but she had left him determined to find more about her.
