After a long 2 hours flight, they arrive at Kanto. They walk to the Pokemon Center. "Welcome to Indigo Plateau Conference Pokemon Center. May I help you?" asked Nurse Joy. "I want to register myself in the Competition," said Ash. "Please hand me your Pokedex," said Nurse Joy. The raven haired guy gives her his Pokedex and put it on the screen. "You have been registered, here's your room key," said Nurse Joy. Ash takes the key. "Thank you, Nurse Joy," said Ash. "Are these your friends?" asked Nurse Joy, pointing at the girls. Ash smiles. "Yeah, these young and beautiful girls are mine," said Ash, causing blush from all the girls. Nurse Joy smiles. "Enjoy your stay," said Nurse Joy. "Where can I get the tournament schedule?" asked Ash. "They should be uploading to your Pokedex later on," said Nurse Joy. "What are we going to do?" asked Serena. "Let's go to our room and rest for a while," said Dawn.
The main door opens and the traitors walk in. "I can't wait to join the tournament and become the Pokemon Master," said Max. "Oh please. I'm the true Pokemon Master," said Trip. "Not until you beat me first," said Paul. Ash sighs as he signal the girls to follow him as the walk towards the stairs. As they cross by, Ash accidentally bump with Max, making that little green haired boy fall down. He just walks away. Max stands up. "Hey you!" yelled Max. The raven hair guy sighs as he look at the young teen. "Yes?" asked Ash in a boring tone. "Apologize to me right now!" demanded Max. "Yeah yeah whatever," said Ash, ignoring Max. "I challenge you to a 1 on 1 battle," said Max. The raven haired guy sighs. "Sorry, I don't have time for that," said Ash. "Or you're just scared to get beaten," taunted Max. May grips her hands as Dawn holds her. "Don't Haruka. It's not worth it," said Dawn. "I know, Hikari. That brat really open his brainless mouth," said May. Drew walks towards May and pulls out a red rose. "For a beautiful girl. Maybe we can go out sometimes," said Drew, trying to flirt. "Sorry but I'm with him," said May, pointing towards Ash. "Why don't you ditch that loser and go out with this great guy?" asked Drew with a smirk. "I already am. Satoshi is a great guy and you are the loser," said May as Dawn giggles. "Satoshi." Ash looks at Serena. "Teach that brat a lesson okay," said Serena with a smile. Ash smiles. "Sure, Serenity. Let's go," said Ash. Max smirks as they walk outside the Center and to the nearest battlefield.
"It will be one on one battle. Trainers, please send out your Pokemon," said May. "I choose you, Gardevoir," called Max.

"Gardevoir use Shadow Ball!" yelled Max as Gardevoir creates a purple ball on his palms. "Garbite, Drago Meteor!" Garbite creates a yellowish ball and throw up to the sky. The purple ball hits Garbite as it fall down but not knock out. Max smirks. "Piece a cake," said Max. Misty looks at Ash that smirk. The yellow ball seperates into 10 Drago Balls as 9 Drago Meteor hits Gardevoir repeatedly, knocking the grass type Pokemon out. "Gardevoir unable to battle so Garbite win," said May. "Just 9? Where did the last one go?" asked Iris. Another explosion nearby as the girls look at the right.
"Oh no, Piplup," said Dawn as she pick up her penguin pokemon. Ash rubs his head. "Sorry Piplup," said Ash as he smiles sheepishly. Iris looks at Garbite. "You really hate Piplup huh," asked Iris as Garbite smiles sheepishly. "Let's head back to our room," said Ash as the girls nod. As the walk away, Max glare towards them. "I will get you next time, Satoshi!" yelled Max.
