Reader Chan's POV
After school was done, I take my backpack off and grab my mask. I put on my mask. (If you're wondering what the mask looks like, here's a drawing I made)

(You'll see what the "don't pity me" means. Also the drawing was inspired by @Catlin_Creeper please don't fight over this drawing ;-;) Kayla saw me and runs over to me. "Y/N!!!" Kayla shouted cheerfully. I turned my head towards where her voice was. She hugs me so I hug her back. She lets go so I can put my hood on. Once I put my hood on, I take out my skateboard from my backpack. Kayla runs behind the school as I follow her skating on my skateboard. Kayla grabs her bike and starts to walk towards me with her bike. "Ready?" I asked while taking out my earbuds and putting them in my ears and plugging it in my phone."Ready!" Kayla giggles. Kayla gets on her bike and starts peddling. I start skating. Me and Kayla would always challenge each other to see who will get to Kayla's house earlier in middle school. I'd always win and sometimes I let her win so she can be happy. I did some tricks while Kayla just giggles. We past an alley way. I turn my head and I SWORE I saw a person with a owl mask or whatsoever in that alley way but I just ignore it. I saw Kayla's bike trip over a rock or something so Kayla fell down, hitting her knees on the cold hard ground. "KAYLA!!!" I shouted and jump off my skateboard. I grab my skateboard and run towards her. Kayla tried standing up but failed. I look at Kayla's knees. The left was bruised while the right was a giant cut bleeding so much. I heard the news come on my earbuds. "Hello ladies and gentlemen. There appears to be a bank robbery earlier at 4:56. The robbers escaped leaving a lot of knives behind. So be warned, if you see a knife on the ground. Leave it and run to your house as fast as possible. Those robbers could be near you!"
I look behind Kayla to see a knife there. "Did you land on that knife?!" I said getting worried. "I-It looks l-l-like i-it." Kayla stuttered while her tears came down. "Damn..." I muttered under my breath. "I-I have a-a-a m-medical kit inside m-my b-b-backpack." Kayla said while her tears just kept coming down. "Okay." I said and grabbed her backpack. I searched for the medical kit inside and found it. I took it out and start opening it up. I grab the alcohol and putted on her cut. She squirmed for a bit but kept her mouth shut. I wiped all the blood off and use those white bandages to wrap it around her leg. "All done! Feel better?" I asked smiling underneath my mask. "Y-Yeah...." Kayla says and wipes her tears. "Y/N LOOK BEHIND YOU!!!" Kayla shouted and pointed behind me. I look behind as quick as possible and saw a guy wearing a hockey mask but he had a machete?! He attacked me but I swiftly dodged. I went behind him and kicked his legs. He falls over as I stood up grabbing Kayla to run. We ran and I look behind to see 2 more guys after us. A guy with a pig mask and another one wearing a bunny costume while blindfolded that has a black horse shoe on it. We kept running until we saw that same owl masked guy with a gun in front of us. I look to my right and saw an empty alley way. I threw Kayla to the right. I swifly dodge all the bullets. I run up to the owl guy and knee him in the stomach. He falls over and I felt hands grab onto my waist. I look behind to see the bunny guy. I kick his left leg and he lets of me. "AGH!" He shouted holding his left leg. I push him away and went into the alley way where I push Kayla.
I saw that Kayla was being held with a machete to her throat. It was that hockey guy. He laughs crazily. I look behind to see what looks like his crew. They were all holding guns at me. "It's either give up or your friend here dies." He looks at me. I clench my hands into fists. "Fine..." I muttered. I sat down on my knees in defeat. The bunny guy walks up to me. "Pull off her hood and mask." The owl guy says. The bunny guy nods. "Don't touch me...." I growled at him so he took a step back. "Give the blonde girl to me and hold her down Delirious." Owl guy says. Delirious gives Kayla to owl guy and holds my arms down. I look down not staring at his face. The bunny guy takes my hood off. Delirious was about to take my mask off until...
