Today was the opening of my new cafe. I couldn't wait to show everyone what it looked like as I had kept it a secret. I spent the morning putting the cakes and cookies and everything in the glass cabinet ready before returning home as I was going to open it officially with everyone with me. The people who were coming to the grand opening were Mr and Mrs Weasley, Bill, Fleur, George, Ron, Ginny, Percy, Hermione, Harry, Luna, my father, Neville, Seamus, Dean and Cho. "Okay, I want you all to close your eyes as I guide you there, when we're there I'm going to ask you to open them, okay?" I said. They agreed and I lead them there. I felt excited when I finally said "Open them!" They all opened their eyes and gasped with amazement and they clapped. "Welcome to Stars And Memories Cafe!" I announced happily.
The outside of my cafe was painted a neon blue colour with white hearts and stars painted down it. In the windows were clay models of my cakes and a menu and flowers. Infinity flowers were also planted outside my cafe. My sign was painted in huge yellow letters across the top. The door had a glittering "Come on in, I'm open!" sign hanging in it. "Come inside! Let me give you a tour!" I smiled before leading everyone inside. A chorus of "Wow"s filled the room. I grinned at them. "This is the main room of course, where you can buy cakes, sandwiches, smoothes, milkshakes, biscuits, hot chocolates and much more! This is the Stars section of the cafe, which is why I have made the ceiling seem like a starry night with a bit of magic, like Hogwarts." I told them. The main room was painted a neon green with paintings of Diagon Alley and various cities in the world. The chairs were bright coloured sofas on the one side with white long coffee tables. The other side had multi coloured bean bags and giant tea cups to sit in. I had a small bookcase, a television and fairy lights above the whole thing. "I'm so excited to show you the next room!" I informed them before opening the door to lead them in.
"This is the memories room. I have also put a charm in here to stop all memory loss spells." I explained. The memories room was painted with the colours of the rainbow. On the walls were animated pictures of people we had lost that we loved dearly, it was called the remembrance wall. It had pictures of Fred, Lavender, Lupin, Tonks, Dumbledore, Dobby, my mother, Sirius, Harry's parents, people like that. "This wall I want customers to cover with written memories on post it notes on the tables every time they visit." I beamed pointing to the empty wall. A jukebox for old song memories was in the corner. A photo booth was in another corner to create more memorable pictures to stick on the back wall. The chairs were like beer barrels and the coffee tables were normal. Fairy lights also hung above the whole thing. I then pointed the toilets before showing them one last room.
"This is the dating room. If anyone is struggling on their date, I can especially put love potion in their drinks, as it worked for George." I winked. The room was painted red with pink hearts. The seats were in fairy tale carriages. Heart fairy lights hung above it. A magical harp and piano played a romantic duet in the corner. There was also enough space to dance. "This is incredible." George commented. "Yeah, you're going to be so successful. I just love the memory room." Hermione added. "You're so clever and talented Ophelia, you should be very proud." Neville complimented. "Thank you so much, I'm glad you love it." I replied.
