"Why won't you let me live my life the way I want to?" she shouted at her cold blooded parents
"That's none of your concern, just shut your trap and do as we say." her stepmom snarled at her
Alex's pov
"Honey, don't use such words" dad said disappointed in her, oh so now he sees what a vixen she is, too bad it's too late, they're already married and because of his reputation he couldn't divorce her.
"I'm going to school" I muttered under my breath and hastily walked out of that toxic house. School wasn't that much better than home, but it was still way better than being at home with that beast. there wasn't much going on, just the same good old classes. Always repeating what we've already learned, telling us that we must learn it. That it'll help us later in life. I don't see how random numbers spilled across various pages is going to help me much.
After the last bell rang, I packed my bag and walked out.

A/N
this is the prologue, it's actually hard for me to write good in English, as it isn't my first language, so the way I build them up might not be the best. But I believe I'm decent. Do expect this story to change gradually over time. Now I'm just going to try and write as much as I can until I reach the end of the story. If it'll have a good or bad ending, idk yet. But I hope you guys read it to the very end! :)
PS: I'm going to re-publish another story I've taken down some time ago, to make it better than it was initially. And I have more stories in store for you guys, but these will be more thought out.
