A horrible sister

POV: Adrien Agreste

Chloe Bourgeois has been my friend for a good number of years, she was my first and only friend until my father allowed me to join the school. Therefore, when I stood in front of the two girls, it became clear to me that either I was seeing two Chloes or the girls were completely identical (or way too similar).

Marinette, Alya, Nino and I blinked for quite some time, I guess we were trying to process what just happened. I figured that this Amber was Chloe's sibling or close relative, although while I was growing up I always thought Chloe was an only child; just like me. The only striking difference between the girls was that Amber seemed a little taller and way more tanned than Chloe; in addition, her tattoo of a bee was making her stand out more.

Chloe stood frozen for a while, staying emotionless. She didn't look too happy to welcome Amber, whilst the other girl seemed to be overwhelmed with joy. Their hug lasted for quite a while; it only ended when Amber realised that her relative had company. Amber blushed a little when she was examing us, her attention seemed to be on me in particular.

"You are Adrien Agreste, am I right?" she held her hand out to me, offering a handshake. I nodded in acceptance and gladly took her hand. She seemed like an interesting character, "I heard a lot about you, Mr Agreste. Nice to finally meet you." she said as she was giving me a sneaky wink.

Marinette immediately recognised how flirtatious she was around me, and didn't hesitate to take care of the situation; however before she could open her mouth, Chloe interrupted.

"What are you doing here?" she questioned Amber with a rather unpleasant tone in her voice, "I thought that you were in Spain."

"Oh I was," she said, her eyes still looking in my direction, "However, Mother thought it would be a good idea to visit home before I graduate from the fashion school," she smirked.

"Does that mean that Mother is also in Paris?" Chloe pulled a disgusted face and her face turned a sickly white colour.

"Yep and we are planning to stay for quite a while," she answered with a noticeably fake smile across her face.

Nino and Alya made suspicious eye contact as if they were talking to each other in a secret language. There was a remarkably short silence in the room; Nino, Alya, Mari and I were utterly confused. This Amber seemed like a horrible yet very interesting person, although we had no idea who she was. The silence was broke when Marinette, finally, open the question.

"Excuse me, but may I ask, who are you?" Marinette said carefully, trying to not seem rude when questioning Amber.

"Amber Rachel Bourgeois, daughter of Audrey and Andre Bourgeois and the twin of Chloe." she said, way too proudly, "And you are?"

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng, girlfriend of Adrien Agreste."

"Is that so?" this made attracted Amber's attention and thus she immediately turned to me, raising her eyebrows in surprise. I nodded to confirm what my girlfriend stated. Then she looked back to Marinette, inspecting her and wrinkling her nose in disgust, "Interesting, very interesting."

This made Marinette very angry, her face was as red as the flexible costume she wears under the identity of Ladybug. She was burning up, I have never seen her this angry before. My girlfriend became a fire-breathing dragon, ready to murder everyone who flirts with me again. I never saw her this annoyed and I knew all the sides of my Ladybug.

"Well, I have to go back now. Mother is waiting in the car for me." she stated, then she turned to her twin sister, "You coming, Chloe?"

"No."

Amber was shocked, "No?" she repeated, "Well, I am afraid you will have to walk then otherwise. I advise you to be clever, sis."

"I am not going with you, I told you." Chloe raised her voice, which scared all of us to be honest. Amber nodded, turned around and slowly walked away from us.

I felt sorry for Chloe, I knew she was trying to change and the way Amber angered her, only meant that this would cause her difficulties. I put my hand on her shoulder, to show our support. Marinette gave Chloe a small smile, Alya and Nino were still stunned by how Chloe's twin acted.
