My mom seriously thinks things will be better then it was in Miami. I doubt it, and I wouldn't keep my hopes up. My mom got this job in LA, California as a business woman, I guess she's like a manager for models or whatever. I'm just proud that she fulfilled her dream and is being strong for the both of us. Especially after my father's death, they got into a argument about something so he left and got into a car crash but his body was never found. So they closed the case and assumed his body might have sunk in the ocean. Bold Right?

We've been driving for the longest and we finally made it to the house, it was actually beautiful on the outside and big. We walked inside and it was like a maze, stairs going up, stairs going down, hallways going left and right. This doing too much.

"Seriously mom?" I asked looking up at the chandeliers in the kitchen.

"Well of course, I needed to have the place already decorated what I look like walking into home depot looking shit. I'll be bored out of my mind, but I did get your room painted pink with August Alsina, Michael Jackson, Daley and all them niggas you like" she said texting on her phone.

"Ugh, pink really? so that means we don't have to unpack what about my clothes?"

"Yea but she gone take you shopping because we selling the old and getting the new. So here's your new phone" she said giving me a gold I phone 5.

"Thankssssss, but who is taking me shopping?"

"Remember Naja your cousin yea she's taking you because mommy is going to be real busy but let's see today is monday so she'll take you Friday after school"

"I thought I start school next monday"

"Yea sorry you actually start today in 2 hours, I forgot. All these calls I have to go but hey have fun love you!" She says grabbing her purse and walking out the door.

You've got to be kidding me, bruh first imma need an outfit. Second imma need materials I must stay prepared for school. Third how in the he'll am I going to get there.

I walk upstairs into my closet hoping to find something but I dont. Just as I was about to walk out the door I saw a note on the back door:

Hey Harmony boo it's Naja. I had a feeling yo mama was gone forget you have school today but call me and I'll stop by. Don't worry about anything, I got ya.

I love that girl she always got my back. Shit I got an 1 hour and 30 minutes left, lemme call her now.

Phone Convo:

Naja: I was expecting yo call, now get in the shower im on my way

Me: Alr

I got in the shower to do my hygiene stuff. When I got out, I brushed my hair leaving it in my puffy ponytail. As I walked out I saw Naja, Emma and two other girls.

"Harmony baby, wassup. Oh let me introduce you to Keisha and Ivory they also go to the same school as you." Naja said walking to her bag pulling out some blue skinny jeans, a black over sized shirt and some black flats. I took it and changed in the bathroom. After I put on my rayband glasses I walked out.

"Gahhhh you winning, but let me do yo hair tho" Naja said.

"Nah I wanna keep my ponytail" I said playing with my puffy ponytail.

"Just like Emma, gone and keep that ball of nap. I guess I can wait till Friday to give you an extreme Makeover" Naja said.

"Hey! my ponytail was perf... ok maybe it wasn't but anyway y'all need to come on cause me and naja gotta head to work" Emma said as we walked out.

During the ride I got to really know Keisha and Ivory. They actually cool people. Keisha is brownskin a super freak bruh, brown eyes, all thick everythang, and a shaved side hair cut, it was cute especially on her. Ivory was white ghetto to the highest but funny as hell, dark brown eyes, very skinny but she wasn't flat no where and she had blonde hair that was short but curly. I never had any friends as cool as them. Well it really is a fresh start tho.

We finally got to the school people were everywhere, it was packed. I grabbed my backpack and put my phone in my pocket.

"Alright so y'all see it ain't far from y'all house, so y'all lil niggas gone be walking. But anyway Harmony have fun and Keisha and Ivory take care of my gah cause if I have to come up here best and believe shit ain't gone be pretty." Naja said with a serious face.

"Don't worry bae we got her" Ivory said.

"Alr y'all be good now I'll see y'all later or Friday I should say. DEUCES!" Naja said speeding off.

Me, Ivory and Keisha turned around walking towards the school. I don't know if they could tell but I was nervous as hell, what if I go through the same shit again. I can't handle that.

Ivory put her hand on my shoulder and whispered in my ear.

"Let a bitch disrespect you, I'll beat they ass. So you ain't got shit to worry about" Ivory said as she smiled.

She's right imma just put the past in the past. Let something new happen in my life for once.
