"It's our ball it went over the net", I shout to the other team.

"If you guys want the ball so much than take it, you'll need the extra point" yells the other team captain, Vincent.

"No I'm taking the ball , I don't need your permissi-"

"LeAnn can you stop talking so we can finish the game" my teammate, Emily yells.

"Uh....okay. As long as we win!"

Oh I forget to say where I am. I'm having the trip of the summer in Asbury Park, New Jersey, the party central of the Jersey Shore. The trip is for my two best friends, Joy and Tony's wedding. Right now I'm with some of my friends from high school, about to beat Juan's team in beach volleyball. Oh, my name's LeAnn if you did know already.

Emily serves the ball, sending it high above the sandy volleyball net over to my team's court. Kai, one of my tallest friends, jumps up to the ball and hits it with full force back across the net. The ball is flying so fast that no one can see it coming as it lands right in the center of the other team's court.

"That's 11-10, LeAnn's team wins!"

"Ha, we won!" I high five all my friends,"better luck next time Vince", I shout in a funny sarcastic way.

"Yeah right you guys cheated with Kai" Vincent pouts.

We all decide to go for a swim in the ocean after that.

********
"We should play Marco Pollo," Emily says excitedly. "It'll be just like back in high school"

"Yeah, but Joy and Tony won't be making out in the corner of the pool" Kai adds as everyone laughs.

"Marco", Kai yells

"Pollo", we all scream

Marco,

Pollo,

Marco,

Just as I swim far out of Kai's reach, I bumped into something. Turns out that something is a horse. I look up to see I'm close to shore, and my Aunt Vanessa and my older cousin, Alyssia, are both horseback riding on the shore with a very upset tour guide.

"Hey Auntie ,hey Aylssia, I exclaim with excitement "What are you doing here?"

"We're here for a vacation, it's my 24th birthday" Alyssia explains," and for Tony and Joy's wedding."

"Wait, how do you know them"

"Really LeAnn? You know Moma used to work with Joy's mom at the hospital, and I went to Boston University with Tony before med school, remember?"

"Oh, I remember you told me that" I totally don't remember her saying that "I'm here for the wedding too!"

" Where the f is LeAnn?" I hear Emily say from about 30 feet away"

"She's right. It's best you go now to not scare the horses" the snobby tour guide points to my friends.

"Cool, I guess I'll see you later then." Alyssia shrugs.

"Yep I'll see you, and have fun horseback riding cuzo!"

****
I spend the rest of the morning and early afternoon having fun on the semi cloudy day with my friends at the beach. I haven't seen them all in almost 3 years! Between college and work, I've become an introvert with barley any social life. But I hope this weekend I can be an extrovert for once.

"How long has it been since we hung out like this" Vincent says mid bite of his buffalo chicken pizza

"We definitely have done this since Kai got his braces off

At 3 o' clock we all head back to our hotel rooms to get ready for the wedding. We wasted so much time yelling at seagulls on the beach, building terrible sand castles, that we are running late to get ready. All of the bridesmaids got together in Joy's hotel room to prepare for the wedding.
"I'm super nervous guys," Joy cries out, "What if he says no?"

"Joy, you know Tony loves you, He doesn't even have a reason to leave." I say to try and calm her down.

"Yeah, but what if something else happens like what if the priest never shows up, or what if it starts raining, or the entertainment!

"Those things would never happen, us and the groomsmen planned everything out to a tee. It would take an alien apocalypse to ruin your wedding," Emily, the maid of honor says.

"What if Ed never shows up to sing at the reception?"

"Ed? Ed who" says Julia, one of the other bridesmaids, in disbelief.

"Ed Sheeran. I've known him for my whole life, so he said he wanted to sing at my wedding." Joy cheerily says

" Believe us Joy, there's nothing to worry about. this will be the best weekend ever!" I say as we all group hug.

After that I get my hair and makeup done and slip into my sleek turquoise bridesmaid's dress. We all get into the rented vintage Cadillac and laugh the ride away to the wedding venue. We all jump out of the car and help Joy unravel her veil. This is it.

After the wedding, all 125 guest go to the large decorated tent for the reception.
All the bridesmaids and I are sitting at a round table relatively in the back of the tent, with the groom's men. One of the bridesmaids I kind of knew named Rochelle told the table she used to date Ed Sheeran.

"But as Ed began to drink more often, our relationship became more abusive. I broke up with him after three months of abuse."

Who says this stuff at a wedding?

After our conversation, I went around to all the tables to talk with everyone I've haven't seen in a million years. Once I got to the table next to mine a met a couple named Lance Bass and Michael Turchin. I sort of recognize Lance, I feel like I've seen him on TV before.I had such a good time talking to them that I almost didn't hear the call to toast the bride and groom.

I sat down to listen to the toast by first the maid of honor, (and one of my best friends) Emily, then the best man Dylan. Just as Dylan finished his toast, I hear a loud crash come form the side of the tent along with a shrill scream. I turn to see what's going on. I can't believe who I see.
