Raised [Crowley Eusford x Reader]

8. Peace

Yet again, peace was between the two beings. The vampires were happy since they had what they wanted. And the humans left the vampires alone since they weren't killing humans anymore. The vampires were hesitant to agree, but they settled on using actual lambs for blood. You thought that was ironic. You folded a paper airplane and threw it at Ferid. He looked up and gave you a dirty look. Then another airplane hit him in the head again. You turned to see Crowley innocently whistling, you giggled. "...What do you two want?" he said not taking his eyes off his papers. "Oh? pfft nothing, we just wanted to annoy you. And yes I know you could kill us at any point but hey we were bored." You said twirling a pen on his desk. "ah~ I see, yeah get out." "Aw, Ferid you're mean." Crowley pouted as you both walked out. "hah, Ferid's been in a shitty mood ever since he found out he can't eat his little children anymore!" You joked. He smiled, "Hmm, yeah that is true, he's such a pedo." You both laughed. You herd familiar voices down the hall until you heard, "MIKA AND YUU ARE GAY!!" You both jumped down from the balcony to go see why Shinoa was screaming her favorite phrase. You saw Mika, Yuu, Yoichi, and Shinoa all gathered up. You awkwardly smiled, then you saw Yuu running at you. Of course, since his pure hatred for vampires, you panicked and quickly hid behind Crowley. "I don't wanna die!" you squealed, hiding your face in Crowley's back. Yuu stopped, "Huh? I'm not gonna kill you, plus I couldn't even if I wanted to." He pointed to Crowley, "I remember you and I DON'T want to deal with your overpowered shit again!" As always, Crowley did his signature smile. "Okay anyways, the real reason I'm here. I have some bad news." Yuu said becoming serious. "I need to see all the high ranking progenitors, including the queen. You, Crowley, and Shinoa gathered everyone in the main entrance hall. 

"So, as you know, us humans and vampires in this district are at peace and are living together without any more bloodshed. But, the leader of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, Kureto Hirragi, sent the Army a message. He said that peace between vampires and humans isn't allowed and not possible. And in two days time, he and his army will come and kill anyone who disobeys his rules, even humans. So I came here to warn you, and I wanted to know if anyone knew about the thoughts of the vampires of higher rank." 

Krul stepped up, "Only Lest Karr, The third progenitor and the king of Germany is aware that I know of." and at that point, another vampire walked in, "Queen Krul, You are requested in the conference room." She sighed and walked out, Everyone looked to Ferid. "What? I wasn't aware of any of this! All that I might know is that the high progenitors will want to discuss this at the Progenitor ball that's being held later today. But what you're saying that some of you want to fight along with the vampires?" Yuu nodded, "So basically, its all of us against Kureto and his army. But I will say this, his army and himself have more tricks up their sleeves than we all do combined."

Krul returned, "So all the high progenitors want to discuss it with us at the Progenitor Ball today. I'm guessing they aren't going to do anything about it. I doubt Satio or Urd will care." "Ha! I was right~" Ferid chimed. Your heart stopped as you looked at Krul. "Krul...Do you mean Urd...Geales?" She nodded, "Yes, do you know him? " You fought back tears and didn't respond. Krul turned back to Yuu, "Okay, We'll fight with you, I understand there will be loss and sacrifice. So everyone here will make sure we win. Now go back to Guren and tell him what happened here. I and the other progenitors will figure it out tonight. Now, for everyone else, go get ready." Everyone went back to their private corridors. You stood there staring at the ground, "(Y/n), go on, you're going too." You're head shot up, "Wait, What? I'm not a progenitor!" Krul waved her hand, "Just act normally and no one will notice, you basically are one. But if you still aren't sure just stick near Ferid or Crowley." You nodded and ran after Crowley. "So, what am I supposed to wear? I'm I supposed to bring something? What if they find out I'm not a progenitor?" "All you have to do is look nice and stay near me. You'll be fine, plus all it's like a formal party. It's pretty boring to me," He said trying to tie his tie. You laughed, "You don't know how to use one of those do you?" You smiled and started to fix his tie. "I do! I just kinda forgot..." You playfully rolled your eyes. "There, see it isn't hard. Okay, now I need to get ready so get out."

You picked out a long silver and black dress. It nicely hugged your body's curves and touched the ground. You did your hair and put on a tiny bit of makeup, not a lot since you kinda hated it. You tried to get the latch on the back of your dress but you couldn't manage to get it. You opened the door and looked at Crowley, "...I can't get the latch...help." He laughed, "Right, It isn't right for me to forget how to put on a tie but its okay for you not to be able to get the latch on your dress. I think that's a little unfair." You huffed, "Yeah whatever, I couldn't reach it anyway." He latched the dress then ran his hand down your arm, "that's going to be annoying when you have to take it off. If you want I can do it for you.~" You blushed and looked away, "I'll be fine, I know how to undress thank you very much." He smirked at you walked away back to the entrance hall. You saw everyone in fancy suits and dresses, you heard a squeal coming towards you, "Oh my god you look amazing (Y/n)!! Too amazing... Hey! I have to be the prettiest one here!" Chess pouted. "Chess, I didn't even try very hard." You laughed, Horn examined your hair, "For not trying you did better than most of us. Probably since I'm nervous to meet the higher-ups." You completely forgot about who was going to be there. 

'I forgot about all of it just because of that big baby of mine' you silently laughed to yourself. 

Everyone gathered in front of the unfamiliar doors of the 3rd progenitor's mansion. A bunch of new vampires is sitting and waiting behind those doors. You felt nervous, and it reminded you of that day all those years ago.
