Chapter 1 ~ The Job

|Natsu's POV|    

It's been a year since we've been reunited! It's awesome, Gramps was in Alvarez but he was actually on his way back here, some people have suspected it but I decided against it.

But, something's not right, I feel more powerful, even more then when I've gone into my Fire Dragon King mode.

I need to find out why, and quickly..

I feel like if I don't find out what's wrong, something bad will happen..

NATSU

"AH!" I screamed, falling off my chair and being brought back out of my thoughts. I looked up and saw a beautiful blonde, with chocolate brown eyes, the same eyes I fell in love with.

"Natsu Dragneel! We're going on a job, I need to pay my rent!" She screamed at me, I hate it when she's mad at me.

"Okay, well then!" I said as I jumped up, off the ground.

"C'mon Fire-brains! I don't want to be late!" Said a man in his underwear, ugh why him?

"Shut up Gray! I don't have time to deal with your nicknames and teasing right now!" I replied, quite demonly, why did I say it like that?

"Well at least you know better then to fight with Gray, Natsu." I heard from behind me, being myself I guessed who it was, and as I turned around it showed that I was correct, it was Erza.

"Now, c'mon you guys we need to find Wendy and Charles!" Lucy had exclaimed.

"We actually can't get those two, in fact not even Happy, those three are on a mission right now." I had told the rest of the group.

"Alright then, let's meet back here at the Guild tomorrow at 8am, sharp!" Erza barked at us, causing Gray and Lucy to shiver, I usually would but for some reason I didn't.

"Aye sir!" The three of us yelled/said simultaneously.

|The Next Morning|

      Natsu's POV

Finally, a job! Something to keep my mind occupied! Though I don't know what the job is about, maybe taking down some monsters?

"Natsu, do you know what job we're going on?" A blonde goddess asked me. 

{A/N: Oml this is too funny, why do I write stuff that crack me up, but nobody else? XD}

"Hm? Oh, I don't know." I said, obviously distracted by my own thoughts.

"So, you don't know if our lives will be at stake?!" She asked with a face mixed with confusion and disbelief.

Most people would think I don't know what that means, but I'm really smart, I always have been, I've just acted dumb and childish to keep everyone's spirits up. 

My dreams are really strange, they show a young me with another young boy who looks like Zeref. 

I may not know what these dreams mean, but they feel sad to me, I feel emotions from them yet I don't know or remember them.

I need to understand these dreams, and fast.

"Hurry up Fire-breath! We need to get on the train!" I think my stomach just killed itself.

"T-The train?!" I asked, fearful.

"Of course Natsu! I am not walking to Crocus!" I heard Lucy say.

Ugh, I hate this hellhole, I just HAD to have motion sickness! 

The entire train ride there was awful, but after I had closed my eyes while leaning against the window, I felt someone pick up my head and place it somewhere lower. I then smelt the place I was put, it smelt like, Lucy. From the position I was in I was laying on her lap, so I decided to make sure she couldn't rid herself of me, and I wrapped my arms around her waist. I could hear her gasp as I had moved my arms, but even though I could smell her I wanted to smell more of her intoxicating scent.

I snuggled in closer to her, trying to find more of her scent. It was like a drug to me, and I was fully addicted.
