Priscilla had finished unpacking all of her clothes and placed all of her belongings in her new bedroom.

She sighed to herself, "As soon as I find a job around here, a makeover for the house is the first thing on my list."

Then it hit her.

What am I going to do for a job? She thought to herself. I don't even know where to start.

She did graduate from college and she received her degree in musical business, but where should she go? Not being all familiar with the area, it was time to get to some research.

Right when Priscilla went to go for her laptop, she got a high pitched bing! from her tote bag. She reached behind her from the bed and grabbed her phone. On her lock screen, it showed a notification from her Facebook messenger app, saying that Jenny Gordon had sent her a message.

What the fuck does she want? You see, Jenny wasn't a very good friend of Priscilla in high school, more like a nemesis. They were friends on social media and would like each other's photos and statuses now and then, but that didn't mean anything to them.

Priscilla opened the message and read:

Hey, Pris! I just heard that you moved to out here in Cali! If you want, we should meet up. I am so dying to see how you are doing and if you changed any bit!

xoxo Jenny

Why is she excited to see me? Priscilla make a puzzled look on her face and thought to herself. I knew she lived in California now, but is she in L.A.?

She tap the messaging box and began to type:

Hey! Yeah, we could try to meet up, but I'm in Los Angeles. Are you in the city or anywhere close by?

Priscilla sent the message and began to hope that Jenny was hours and hours away. One side of her knew Jenny could help if she was local, but another side couldn't forget about what happened in high school between the two.

*Flashback time*

Priscilla was just sitting on the bench outside of her school waiting to see if her mom would pick her up today. She skipped the bus because she had to do some work for the homecoming party's committee. This year, she decided to help consider it might help with her status at school.

"Come on, Mom," she said aloud. "Where are you?"

Priscilla sent a text to her mom to see if left the house or not. Usually her mother was a stickler about being punctual.

While continuing to moan and groan about her mom, a tan, thin girl sat down next to her on the bench. She had dark brown hair that was as straight as a board and a figure like a model.

Shit! It's Jenny Gordon. Priscilla thought to herself. She's like the most popular chick in school!

Priscilla looked up and down at Jenny. All the boys drooled over her. She had the most friends. She was the epitome of perfection.

Jenny looked over at Priscilla and smiled, "Hey, you're the quiet girl in my algebra class. Priscilla right?"

Priscilla nodded. "Yeah, and you're Jenny, right? I mean everyone knows you."

Jenny blushed and replied,"Why, yes. Both facts are true."

The two began to talk on and on. After Priscilla's mom arrived and picked her up, the two texted.

Everything went well, until Priscilla said something she shouldn't have.

"So, since we're getting to know each other, who do you think is pretty cute? Like who's your crush? :P" asked Jenny.

Priscilla replied back without any thought, "Definitely Jonathan Smith. He's on the basketball team. Know him? :)"

And long story short, a feud started. Turns out, Jenny dated Jonathan. Jealousy took over and she had spread nasty rumors about Priscilla to the point where Priscilla left the school.

She had soon regretted to trust others, especially those who were popular and at the top. Those with powers could do anything to destroy a person.

*Flashback time over*

Priscilla thought about it. She knew she may need some help in a new area, but Jenny took away so much of her high school life away. Over a stupid boy she ended up dumping.

She destroyed you, Pris. She thought to herself. But if she is still as popular as she was in high school, she could probably help.

Jenny replied back saying she was in fact around. Priscilla knew what she had to do. It was that she had to let go all the pain and pray that Jenny isn't still a total bitch.

And so, Priscilla's fingers went typing away. She had either added fuel to a continuing fire, or she had planted a seed to a new friendship.

Hey, readers!

I know, I know. It's been way too long since the last chapter.

And that we still haven't caught up with Ronnie yet.

I've had writer's block and I've been busy...

Or just a bit lazy.

But anyway, it's good to be back to updating!

Hope you enjoy!
