I'M EXULTANT ON THE SEMBLANCE but, felt internally dying.
It isn't the fact the place I detest the most is where I'm currently at, I loathe Saturday's family gatherings. It was more like our beloved one also known as our grandfather, has invited his relative which I sincerely didn't know that that person even exited.
But us, his grandchildren weren't ready for what about to happen.
"Huddle up, huddle up kids!" our gramps barged into our free-for-video-games room where it's located at his mansion. it aggravates me that I, Audrey Angelle still play video games. I'm eighteen years old for (other eighteen year olds might think I'm racist) god's sake! Sighing in vexation while slowly averting my eyes from the monitor screen to grandpa's ecstatic face. "What are we? six?" Mickey – my cousin who's same age as me - muttered indecently.
Grandpa had his huge smile that tends to get sarcastic as he unplugged the room's electronics and his eyes never left ours, our jaws dropped and we stayed still indicating how grandpa can never get less childish. Instead of attempting to get away with un-so-cool move he did, he laughed profusely at our faces and I looked at Mickey with scrunched up face and slowly hopped up on him intentionally wanting to choke him for making gramps stubborn and destroying what was I accomplishing to do in the last level of the game, "I'm going to end you micks." I said, glaring.
"What have I done?" mickey blurted out tensely and surrendered.
"Kids stop it, Audrey oh no no!" Gramps urged right away the second I approached Mickey and got me off mickey who was panting hurriedly and had his eyes widened. "All I wanted to do was tell you something exciting, now tell me what kind of tragedy is this huh." Grandpa couldn't hold it in any longer and burst out for good.
"Frankly, a weird one so far." Mickey said and chuckled a bit as he brushed off his shoulders not noticing grandpa's and my intense glares.
....
After finally settling in and spreading peace, grandpa tells us what he wanted to say. "His name is namjoon and he's coming in one minute exactly." The bell rang suddenly and in the first time ever a minute felt like a second. I let out surprised, "shut the front door, no way."
