"Isabelle hurry up, we're gonna be late!" My best friend screamed at the top of her lungs. I throw my favorite red lipstick on my bed and look at myself in the mirror. I instantly start smiling, knowing that a few hours from now, I'll be singing my heart out at a Logan Smith concert. It is the concert of the year! I still couldn't believe that my best friend and roommate Emma bought us these tickets for my birthday. Today was my 21st birthday and I already knew that it would be the best one yet! Ever since Emma and I moved to New York to study law three years ago, we wanted to go to a Logan Smith concert. We were both huge fans of him, especially me, and when she surprised me with the tickets I cried tears of joy. Even though we've been friends for a long time, we've only known each other in real life for these 3 years. She grew up in England whilst I grew up in Germany. We started as internet friends until we decided that moving together was a terrific idea, because we both wanted to study law in New York.
I woke up from my day dream when I heard someone gasping beside me. "Omg you look amazing" Emma screamed and instantly hugged me. I was wearing a glittery silver top paired with black shorts and sneakers. "You look gorgeous Ems!" I laughed while she twirled around showing off her outfit which consisted of black shorts, a golden top and sneakers. "Logan's eyes are going to fall out of his head when he sees you Belle!" She smiled at me genuinely whilst I blushed. I've been crushing on Logan for a while now and honestly it would be amazing if he noticed me but I'm just glad that I even got the chance to see him. "Shall we?" I say trying to forget how nervous I was. "Oh Belle, relax!" Emma says rubbing my back. "I have a feeling that something unforgettable is going to happen tonight." Before I could even answer she had already taken my hand and dragged me out of our apartment.
