As soon as the competition is over we all bolt to the golden button to see if we have a chance to press it yet.

Just as hoped, it was uncovered.

"It only takes one." Caleb read the monitor.

This is our chance and it might be the only one we have.

"It could be anything." I said looking at them for guidance.

"What if it's bad?" Victoria asked.

"Are we really not gonna push it?" Cody asked which made me happy that I'm not the only one who wants to press it.

"I mean come on guys it's Big Brother."

They all looked at me like "you're right" but they were also hesitant to the idea of pressing the button.

"Guys take one second to think about this. This button can do anything like rewind the game or bring back BOB." Derrick tried to convince us.

"What if it brings back someone?" Caleb started taking Derrick's side.

"So..." I crossed my arms.

These boys are wimps.

"What if that someone is Frankie?" Derrick asked.

On the other hand maybe we shouldn't press the button.

"Why are we in this house if were not going to push it?" Cody said.

He does have a point.

"America wants to watch us play the game so let's play." I said which was the final straw for everybody.

We put our hands together and pushed the button causing a timer to appear on the monitor.

"What is that?" Victoria asked.

"Five days, nineteen hours, eleven minutes, fifty seconds." Caleb read the countdown.

Now we wait.

Nomination Ceremony...

It's about to begin and I'm nervous because I'm not sure who Caleb is putting up.

I could very well be that person and if somehow Victoria pulls herself off the block, this week will turn to hell.

Then again I'd rather see my face up on the screen instead of Cody's.

I threw away my game once for him and I'd sure as hell do it again.

Cody means the world to me and if he goes before me I'll be pissed.

He deserves this more then I do.

"This is the nomination ceremony. I have the power to nominate two houseguest for eviction. The first houseguest I have nominated is..." Caleb turns the key revealing Victoria's face on the wall.

"The second houseguest I have nominated is..."

Here we go.

Cody's face appears on the screen and my heart drops into my stomach.

I know I'm overexaggerating because Victoria is our number one target this week but there's still that golden button.

Anything can happen, it's Big Brother for god's sake.

No one should ever feel safe.

No one can ever go to bed before midnight in this house.

I'm still up because I had just finished my 12th round of pool with Derrick.

I was teaching him how to do trick shots and stuff since there isn't much we can do in this house.

When I got into bed Cody was still up.

I was confused because he said he was going to bed over an hour ago.

This can only mean one thing...

"Tell me what's on your mind."

He shifted from his back to his side so that we were now face to face.

"I can't win the Veto."

"Why do you say that?"

"Because there's a chance you'll go up in my place."

I swear this boy will have my heart forever.

"Don't think like that." I took his hand in mine.

"It could happen."

"You can't throw this competition because what if it ends bad for both of us."

"I just don't know what to do."

"Promise me you're going to do everything you can to win that Veto."

"Amary..."

"I'm serious Cody."

Silence...

Cody throwing this Veto can ruin everything because what if I can't win it for us and Victoria does.

Then she comes off the block and I can easily go up as her replacement...then what?

One of us could easily go home.

"Whatever." I get up from the bed.

I'm kinda mad right now.

How can he just give up.

"Where are you going?" Cody sits up as I grab my blanket.

I don't answer him.

"Are you seriously mad right now?"

"Cody, you are basically putting your fate in my hands and if I can't win I not only could be put up on the block as a replacement for either you or Victoria but I also fail you." I snapped.

He grabs me and pulls me to sit on the bed with him.

"Okay, I understand. I won't throw the Veto."

"You promise?"

"Amaralise Rose Hanson I promise to give this competition all I got."

"Thank you."

He pulls me into his arms, placing a kiss on my lips.

I just hope that I can get this win for us.
