This time it really felt like a whole year as I was unconscious. Waking up costed me more than the last time and I was feeling really sick. I think I should really need to stop teasing this guy – I thought. I looked around and I was almost in the same spot I was last time I ended up here with the only difference that now one of my forearms was hurt and bleeding. I started freaking out when all of a sudden something fell at my side giving me a start. I instinctively jumped to the side landing right on my hurt arm which made me whine because of the sharp pain. ¡Damn! – I cursed while holding my sore arm. After a few minutes rubbing my elbow I looked over the thing next to me and it was nothing less that my bag pack. I grabbed it quickly and started searching for my small med kit that was just a necessaire with band aids, a little bottle of alcohol and a couple of sanitary towels in case I had an accident, but I was lacking of bandage. The wound in my forearm wasn't so deep but I needed to cover it to avoid an infection. I looked at my t-shirt and ripped off a piece of it to wrap my wound with it. I sighed in relief forgetting where I was until a sound made me come back to reality. My heart was once more pounding inside my chest. I stood up carefully grabbing my head, the dizziness was fading away but the aching was persistent. I started walking in circles trying to recognize the place I was at, it had several entrances or exits, it was really confusing. I ventured myself to get inside of one of the tunnels until someone said:

– You're going to get lost if you go that way...

I freezed on the spot and I wasn't willing to turn until I felt someone right behind me. My hands started sweating cold once again. Suddenly a huge gloved hand landed on my right shoulder and a white profile as big as the hand stopped at the height where my face was. Then he said:

– I can smell your fear, and it's the sweetest I have ever smelled.

As soon as his hand started to plunge some kind of claws in my flesh I thought I was going to die in the most horrible way possible but I couldn't let that happen without even fighting for my life. If he wanted to kill me I would make it really hard for him. Quickly I slammed my bag pack on his face and started running as fast as I could not knowing where to go. It was like a maze of tunnels, one connected to other, one more flooded than other. Giving the lack of light and my despair to get out from there I didn't noticed that my left leg was wounded. I ran until I finally got to a sewer with no exit, it was barred and there was no light at the other side. I was really exhausted and my leg was hurting really bad, the stinging pain reached my hips and I felt my foot way too heavy, like if it was made of plumb. Not having much choice I started looking for something to beat him with. When my hand finally felt something under the water I pull it out and horrified I saw it was a bone. I tossed it feeling sick and almost angry at the thought that maybe other person had perished here, like I was about to. I clenched my fists waiting for him and willing to give him a hell of a fight. Then I heard his footsteps splashing towards me in such a confident way that made me doubt of myself. I didn't even saw him coming when he was already running like a demon in my direction, shaking his head and showing his sharp teeth whilst holding his arms with clawed fingers right at the height my throat was. I closed my eyes hoping the worse. But then nothing happened. I didn't dare to open my eyes. Seconds seemed to become hours. I was holding the bars so tight that my hands started to hurt, when I finally felt his breath on my neck. It was like he was trying to make up his mind and fighting with his killer nature and something else. When I opened my eyes and took my chances on looking up, I saw two blue eyes, blue like a clear morning sky. He was breathing fast, as same as agitated I was. When my eyes landed on his open mouth there were no sharp teeth at sight. He came closer to my face and barely touching my ear, he whispered:

– Please, don't go...

I was so startled that my confusion took over my fear. I remained silent and still stiff. Then he offered me his big hand. I looked at it not knowing what he was doing. He saw my perplexed face and said:

– I won't hurt you. Come.

I put my trembling hand on his and begin to walk when a painful pang ran up from my ankle to my knee making me fall. I never touched the floor, and there he was, holding me with his long arms. He lifted me up like a princess and I felt so tiny in his embrace that it was hard not to think that he could easily break me like a match if he wanted. While walking I couldn't help but watch him carefully. His face features were incredibly attractive, he had a cute nose and his lips were doll like. Feeling my eyes wandering all over his face he couldn't help but smirk as he was feeling embarrassed. To be honest that pulled a shy smile on my face. Not having a threatening sensation anymore, I put my head on his chest and fell asleep. He seemed he had walked for long minutes until we finally got to a different place. This place was a little bigger than the previous one and you could feel a soft breeze coming from some of the tunnels, there was also a thin ray of sun coming down from one of the barred openings on top of us. In the middle of this lounge there was an old wagon, it was surrounded by lots broken things and most of them were basically trash; but the inside had lots of toys, dolls and stuffed teddy bears. He had put me onto one of the few mattresses and a brown teddy bear as a pillow. When I woke up the wound in my left leg was already taken care of and my shirt had a piece of fabric less. I couldn't but smile seeing that small and odd detail coming from him when moments before I was struggling to stay alive. This was really strange. I sat up and heard nothing but the sound of the wind outside and the dance of the weeds. What is he up to now? – I asked myself whilst looking for the big guy. He definitely wasn't around. I scratched the back of my head wondering, then, I waited. Some prevented me from running away like it was something telling me that everything was going to be different from now on. So I stayed. When he came back he brought with him a dead animal. He was carrying it on his shoulder. He left the lifeless creature over a plastic bag, then, he gathered some stuff he seemingly used as a grill. I watched him full of amusement and, at the same time, curiosity. Once this humble grill was set, he started preparing the animal for its cooking. I avoided watching how he took the skin off and cut it into pieces since I wasn't so used to blood and guts spread all over the place. When he was finally done with it, he came for me. He bent his huge body and ducked in front of me with a big smile on his lips, maybe feeling proud of having a guest for dinner.

– Come with me – he said laying his hand to me to help me get up.

The fire he made was cooking the meat at good speed; hopefully we will be eating before midnight. He helped me sit next to the fire and put some sort of blanket around my shoulders. He didn't stop surprising me. We remained in silence for a moment until I decided to break the ice:

– My name is Amelie – My voice trembled at the mere idea I was talking to a person I didn't even know if he was human at all-. ¿May I ask what your name is?– ¡Oh, of course you can! – He answered all excited whilst smiling and showing off his two big frontal teeth-. You can call me Bob, Bob Gray...
