•{Jughead's POV}• School had just let out on the last day before spring break I started to head home when Archie texted the Core four group chat
Archie🎸: Hey guys meet @Pops in 10?
Betty👑: I'll be there!
Veronica👠: See you guys there!
Jug🐍: Fine but your paying Arch.
Archie🎸: 👍👍👍
I turned around and decided to try to get to Betty's so I could walk with her over. Betty has been my best friend since the day she stood up for me in second grade, and I'm sure that's all it will ever be to her..... a best friend even though I wish it was so much more. Archie is the only one who knows how I really feel about Betty and has been trying to get me to go for it recently and I can't figure out why. Archie himself has Veronica to be romantic with..... I just wish I could have that with Betty.
I walk up the Coopers front steps and as I'm about to knock on the door Betty opens it and I lose my balance and fall flat on my face. B: Oh my gosh! Jug are you okay? J: Just great I say getting up and rubbing my nose. B: I'm so so sorry Juggie. I feel awful! Do you want me to get you and ice pack or something?? She seemed so worried about me.... I like it when she is protective of me. J: It's okay Betts I'm fine, really. We better get to Pops before Archie and Veronica go full on makeout session on us. She giggled and we started the walk to Pops. Her giggle..... oh how cute her giggle is.....
•{Betty's POV}• Me and Jug walked to Pops in a comfortable silence. Every once in a while his hand would brush up against mine sending shivers through my body. Me and Jug have been best friends for almost 10 years now. We met in second grade and now we are seniors..... it's kinda crazy. Anyway these past couple years I have started to see Jug differently. The way one of his many black curls peaks out from under his crown shaped beanie, how his ocean-green eyes sparkle in the sunlight. And Juggie has always been there for me no matter what I was going though. Veronica is the only one who knows how I feel about Jughead and she is always telling me to flirt with him. I have before a lot but he always just seems oblivious like he doesn't even notice it so I have stopped trying....... he wouldn't think of me in that way anyways, to him we are always just gonna be best friends.
We finally get to Pops and Jug opens the door for me I smile and try my best not to blush as I tell him thank you. I walk into Pops and look around the diner until I spot a ginger boy with his arm around a raven haired girl. I walk over and sit across from the. And Jug slides into the booth next to me. We all greet each other and order some of Pop Tate's famous milkshakes after the waiter walks away we are left to talk. V: So Archikeins why the sudden urge to see us all? A: Well I was wondering what you guys were doing over spring break? We all exchange glances and shake our heads. A: Well that's absolutely perfect because my Mom sent some Disney World season passes and I was wondering if you guys wanted to come down to Florida with me? We could rent a house by the beach and spend some days there and some days at the park? What do you say? B: Wow Arch that would be amazing! I exclaim, V kisses him on the cheek and says V: Yay!! Jug nods eagerly. A: Alright I'll pick you guys up at 5 am tomorrow and we will drive out to the airport! J: Sounds like a plan! Our milkshakes come out and V drags me away to the bathroom. Once we get in she locks the door. V: B this is it, this is your chance! I furrow my brows and she turned to look at me, V: With Jug?! Now I get what she means...... B: I dont know V...... V: Come on why not?! You guys are gonna probably gonna have a lot of alone time this week. Let's face it we are not rich so you two will probably have to share a bed in the beach house. He can see you all sexy in your swimming suit. It's perfect! B: V..... I don't know. V: Okay well at least promise me you will start to flirt again? She looked at me with sad puppy dog eyes. B: Ugh fine...... V: Yay!! She squealed and clapped her hands.
•{Jughead's POV}• The girls step away to go to the bathroom leaving me and Archie in the booth, A: Dude this is your chance! J: What do you mean my "chance"?? A: With Betty?! It will be perfect me and Ronnie will make sure you two get some alone time, I'll make sure to book a house with only two rooms and say it's all I can afford. You have to make a move! J: Arch you know I can't do that....... A: Why not?!? J: Cause she only think of me as a friend dude. A: I dont know Jug have you seen the way she looks at you... just promise me you will at least think about it? J: Okay fine...... Could Archie be right? Does Betty see me as more than a friend?? God I hope so.....
~Time skip till next morning cause I'm lazy~
•{Betty's POV}• Veronica spent the night at my house last night and Jug spent the night at Archie's so it would be easier to leave for the airport early in the morning. My phone started to ring at 4:45 am. I got up stretched and went over to shake V awake. We spent the morning packing and getting ready for the trip.

We take our bags and load them into Archie's car and head off to the airport. ((Just to spare you I've never been on an airplane so I don't really know how this works)) Once we arrive we check in and go threw security. We soon board the plane, Archie and V go off to their seats leaving me and Jughead at ours. J: Do you want the window seat Betts? B: Sure. I say, I smile at him as a take a seat. He puts our carry ons over us and sits down next to me. Veronica kept me up all night last night "teaching" me how to flirt with Jug. I was so tired that as soon as we took off I fell asleep with my head leaned on his shoulder.
•{Veronica's POV}• I look over and see Betty and Jughead, Betty has her head leaned on Jughead's shoulder asleep and Jughead is smiling down at her. V: Hey Arch? A: Yeah? V: I'm going to tell you something that I hope you can help me with...... A: Okay.....? V: Okay..... well....... Betty really likes Jughead. Veronica was nervous. She squeezed her eyes shut tightly but she heard nothing out of Archie's mouth. She slowly opened her eyes to see Archie with his eyes wide and a big goofy smile on his face. V: What? A: Ronnie Jughead really likes Betty! He has for so long it's not even funny! V: What?! We need a plan.
