Jealous Much Jones?

    Oh my god guess who finally wrote again??? Sorry I haven't been on at all I kinda just stopped writing for some reason🤷‍♀️ but I'm gonna try to get back into the flow of things. Any ideas for future oneshots??

    Betty and Jughead were Riverdale's "it" couple. The perfect girl next door and the badass Southside Serpent were who everyone wanted to be. They were happy; and they were in love.
   The pair hadn't seen each other in almost two weeks because they now go to different schools and Betty deals with the Blue and gold, Jughead with the serpents. Betty missed her Juggie unbelievably and Jughead the same with his Betts.
    "Hey Juggie," Betty said softly into her phone being careful not to wake her mother. "Betts!" Jughead exclaimed into his phone. The smile evident through his voice. "So how was school today?" Betty asked Jug catching up with her boyfriend. "Actually something pretty exciting happened. We got an announcement today." Jughead replied smile getting even bigger. "Really? What is it?" Betty asked, confused. "Well in a couple weeks Southside High will be shut down and all the students will be transferred...." Jughead explained. "Oh my god Juggie does that mean-" Jughead cut her off mid sentence, "I'm coming back to Riverdale High Betts!" Jughead told her. Betty's face light up, "I can't wait to see you Jughead." She said smiling. A blush crept across Jughead's cheeks. How could just a simple girl do this to a gang leader? Betty has a hold on Jughead's heart, and she was never letting go.

~The next Morning~

Betty woke up, getting ready and making her way to school. When she arrived she was called into Mr. Weatherbee's office. Making her way into the office she caught a glance of some firey red hair, and it wasn't Cheryl's. "Good Morning Betty," Mr. Weaherbee said as she entered the room. "Take a seat." She positioned herself in the chair smiling and nodding hello to both the red head next to her and her principal.
"Betty, this is Archie Andrews and he just transferred from Greendale." "Hi" Archie said giving Betty a small wave. He glanced down her and she could tell he was checking her out. "Hello." Betty said to him with a small smile. He caught her eyes in his staring deep into them. This was making Betty uncomfortable. She quickly looked away back to Mr. Weatherbee. "I would like you to show him around this morning and kinda be someone he can turn to while he transitions into our school and town. Can you do that for me?" Weather bee asked her. Betty paused, "Of cause Mr. Weatherbee." She told him glancing back to Archie.

~ After the tour ~
    "So Archie, that is Riverdale High i hope this tour was helpful enough for you." Betty told him with a small smile.
  "It very much was Betty, thank you" Archie said giving her a smirk back. They were stood by Archie's locker because that is where the tour had ended. Kevin came up behind Betty, "Why hello, who is this new hot ginger?" He asked. 
    "Kevin this is Archie, Archie this is Kevin. Archie just transferred from Greendale." Betty explained.

   The next two weeks were the longest of Betty's life. She had been counting down the days til she gets to see Juggie at school everyday. Over the two weeks Archie had inserted himself right into their friend group with Kevin, Betty, and Veronica. Betty thought Archie was a cool guy and she could tell he definitely liked her. She hasn't mentioned Jughead cause she didn't want to make things awkward between them. So she just sort of brushed off all his flirting.
   It was the Sunday night before the day the Southside students were transferred to Riverdale High. Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Kevin had all been at pops earlier that night and Archie had offered to walk Betty home. She politely accepted because she didn't want to be rude. The walk was mostly silent. Betty kept her hands shoved in her pockets and walked swiftly in fear that Archie would try to make a move on her, and she would be forced to make things awkward. When they got to Betty's house she turned quickly, "Bye Archie." She said making her way to her door. "Wait Bet-" Archie was cut off by Betty's door shutting. "Dammit" he whispered to himself making his way to his own house.
    Once Betty got inside she moved swiftly taking and shower and doing her nightly routine. The sooner she got to sleep the sooner she could wake up and get to school to see Jughead. She hadn't seen Jughead for almost a month now and she couldn't take it anymore. While she was settling into bed Betty's phone dinged. She turned over to see a text form Jughead himself. A smile spread across her face as she read the words.
Hey Betts! Sorry I couldn't talk tonight serpent stuff :/ but I can't wait to see you tomorrow baby! <3
She sent him a text back saying she couldn't wait to see him either and set her phone down. Slowly drifting off to sleep.

~the next morning~
   Betty's alarm went off and she sprung out of bed. It was 5:30 am and school starts at 7:15 am. In a little less then two hours she would be able to be in Juggie's arms again, and she was beyond excited.
   Betty made her way to school and stopped by her locker putting her books away and waiting for Jughead. A voice cane from behind her, "Betts," but it wasn't Jughead. She could tell, she turned around and was met with Archie's smiling face. She put on her own (fake) smile. "Please don't call me that." She said politely. Only Juggie calls her that. "Oh um okay?" Archie said slightly confused. He leaned up against her locker and stepped closer to her. Betty went to back up but was met with a wall. Archie started to causality flirt with Betty and compliment her. It was evident to everyone but Archie that Betty was very uncomfortable, her face showed if all.

Jughead walked into Riverdale High and looked around. Oh all of the memories from this place. He was happy to be back. While the others were getting showed around Jughead went to find Betty. He didn't need a tour and was so tired of waiting to see her. He searched the library, cafeteria, and finally went to look at by her locker. He turned the corner and saw a red headed boy leaned up against the lockers next Betty very closer to her. His blood started to boil. Who does this guy think he is? He saw the look on Betty's face and knew he had to do something. He walked straight up to Betty and her eyes lit up. Before she had time to react to seeing him he pulled her into a rough and passionate kiss. He continues kissing her pinning her up against the wall behind her. She melted into his kiss and wrapped her arms around his neck. When he finally pulled away from Betty to get air he looked over at Archie. "Oh sorry dude. Didn't see you there." He said a mischievous smirk on his face. Archie stood there still a surprised look on his face. Betty knew what Jug was doing and kinda felt bad for Archie, but at the same time didn't care cause she had finally seen Jughead again. Archie looked at Betty obviously asking her who the hell had just kissed her like that. "Oh um Jughead this is Archie he's new from Greendale, and Archie this is Jughead my boyfriend." Betty explained. "Oh....." Archie said slowly looking down. "Nice to meet you Archie." Jughead said to him the same mischievous smirk plastered across his face. "I have to um go give Veronica the math homework from last night.... I'll um see you guys later." Archie said stumbling on his words, clearly intimidated by Jughead. Archie turned and walked away, and when he was out of sight Betty smacked Jughead's chest. "Ow! What was that for?" Jughead yelped. "Did you really have to do that?" Betty raised her eyebrow at him. Jughead scratched his neck and smiled at her, "whoops" he said. Betty couldn't resist that smile. She grabbed the collar of his leather serpent jacket and pulled him down into her lips kissing him roughly. She detached her lips from his but still lightly held her lips over his. "Jealous much Jones?" She said to him. "Not one bit Cooper. I have you all to myself." Jughead said before putting his lips back on hers.
