Senior Year Gene X Reader Book 2

Zenix and Sasha

(Y/n) P.O.V

Our one year anniversary. "That's like a week from now isn't it?" I whisper to myself. "Yeah...can't believe it's been almost a year." Gene mumbles.

"So what do you want to do for it?" I ask. "I mean. I have a plan, but it's a surprise." He says nervously. "O-oh!" I chuckle. His just got kinda awkward.

After that. We just kinda tried to adjust to the new house. It's big for just two people. "How do you feel about dogs?" Gene asks.

"I love dogs! I don't have enough time for a dog though. I've always wanted one though!" I smile. "Why didn't you get one?" Gene asks.

"My 'brother' is allergic." I growl. After maybe an hour we decide to head to bed. The next morning we both get dressed and head to school.

"Bleh" I say walking up to Sasha and Zenix. "Same honestly." Sasha chuckles. "You going to any classes today?" Gene asks the two. "Maybe." Sasha smiles.

The bell rings and me and Gene must disappear.

Zenix P.O.V

"Hmmm" "What's up Zenix?" Sasha asks placing a hand on my shoulder. "Oh ... um, n-nothing" I stutter. Shit. Not good. Sasha back up. Right now.

"Come on Zenix. I know you too well. What's up with you, you've been distant. Especially towards me." Sasha mumbles.

I look away. Staying silent. "Zenix." Sasha growls. "I can't...tell you." I whisper. "Why not?" Sasha asks getting closer.

She puts both of her hands on my shoulders and makes me face her. Sasha seriously stop. "Personal reasons." I mumble again turning my head away.

"I don't understand why your giving me such a hard time then. Is this about me. Did I do something? If so tell me." She says. For the first time. Sasha sounded worried.

Why. Did you have to do that. Don't look at me like that. "Sasha...I- can't. It's just- Gene is the only one who knows what's wrong with me. And I wanna tell you but I just-" I'm trying to explain quickly.

I can't stay near her right now. "You just what? What did I do?! Why am I being kept in the dark?" She asks. Sasha... "I....I uh, I," spit it out already.

Fuck it.

I grab both of her hands and pull her towards me. Kissing her. I finally got to feel her soft lips. Even if it's only for a second.

I pull away. Looking away. "I couldn't say it. So I just showed you instead." I whisper. "Oh...Zenix" She says.

I don't want to look at her face. I already know how this will play out. "Zenix... look at me." She says. I slowly turn my head and then. I feel her lips again.

I melt. Returning the kiss.

(Y/n) P.O.V

What did I just see. I just went to grab my bag. And I ... I'm so confused. "Hey there you are- where's your bag?" Gene asks.

"Back by the tree." I mumble. "Why didn't you grab it dumb ass." Gene chuckles. "I saw...I saw, saw, I-I saw..." (Y/n).exe has stopped working.

"Calm down. Breathe." Gene says. "I saw...Sasha and Zenix... they, they were...they, did a thing. The thing the lip thing. KISSING THEY WERE KISSING!" I manage to say.

Gene starts to laugh. "Your real funny." He smiles. After realizing you were serious, he becomes very smug. "MY BOI! HE MADE A MOVE FINALLY." Gene shouts excitedly.

"What are you talking about?" I ask very confused now. "Oh Zenix has had the biggest crush on Sasha since forever. He's never been able to tell her though." Gene explains.

"Oh. I wonder how Sasha feels." I say. "You don't know?" Gene asks. I shake my head. "Naw. We never talked about crushes." I say.

"Oh... well I hope it goes well for Zenix then." Gene mumbles. "We should probably get to class." I say. Gene just nods and we head of to class.

-Lunch-

We meet Sasha and Zenix for lunch. "Do not bring up the thing." I whisper. Gene nods.

We sit down and they both look very...tomato like. "You guys ok? You sick or something?" I ask. "Nope." Sasha laughs. "Your acting weird." Gene says.

"Really? That's ... weird." Zenix chuckles. I look at Gene and smirk. "Ok so what happened?" I ask. "I have no clue what your talking about." Sasha nervously laughs.

"Uh huh. So why are you guys blushing?" I smirk. "Checkmate." Gene chuckles. "I kissed her..." Zenix whispers.

"Sorry, What was that?" I smirk. "I kissed her." He says a little louder. "Hmm, couldn't-" "HE KISSED ME!" Sasha shouts. Luckily no one was around.

"We know." I laugh. "I saw the whole thing." I state. It was very silent... and awkward.

"You asshole!" Sasha smiles. "You love me." I say focusing on my food. "Good job man. Took you long enough." Gene exclaims putting Zenix in a head lock.

"Yeah yeah. I got it." Zenix growls. "So...?" I ask before shoving a taco in my mouth. "So...what?" Zenix asks. "Your an idiot." Gene mumbles.

"What's going on between you two now?" I ask rolling my eyes. "Oh, well. Uhm. We were gonna, go on ... a date." Zenix mumbles stumbling over every word.

"Who the fuck are you? And where the hell is Zenix." I ask. "This is so weird to see." I say to Gene. "He has his soft side. Like all of us." Gene explains.

After lunch is over. It was time for class again. "I think I have art next." Gene says. "I've got vocals." I grumble.

"Wanna skip, maybe we could spy on Sasha and Zenix." Gene offers. "Uh hell yeah!" I exclaim.

Zenix and Sasha.
