Last day of school

Amber's POV

"Finally, it's the last day of school and I was in my last period of the day. I was sitting in my desk next to my best friend, Jaylon, making plans for how we were going to spend summer vacation.

So are you excited, Jaylon asked

Yes, I am, and I can't wait to spend it with my besties.

I know right, we're gonna have so much fun, he said

So what do you have planned for today?

Jaylon didn't hear me he had zoned out on me.

Jaylon's POV

Wow, Amber is really cute, and I'm lucky to have her as a best friend. She is really sweet and very pretty. She has a beautiful smile and I feel that as long as she is happy, I'm happy. I wish I could tell her how I feel but....

*Bell Rings*

What was that?, Jaylon asked

The bell, I said while laughing, what was you thinking about?

Oh, nothing, he said

Well, hey what do you have planned for summer break

Same as I always do, chill with you, Martin and whoever else comes around.

Oh cool, I said, well hey I'm going to the beach with Maliyah tonight do you wanna come?

Sure it'll give me and Martin something to do, he said, well hey I'll catch you later ok

Sure, I said as i hugged Jaylon and start for my car. As I got to my car I saw that Maliyah was already waiting on me which was new because I normally have to wait on her.

Wassup sista, she said

Wassup girl, I can't believe that you are already here normally I'm waiting on you, I said

I know right, well hey what's the plan to kick off the start of summer vacation?

Well first we're going to the mall and later we'll chill at the beach, I said

Alright that sounds fun maybe we can meet some cuties at the mall, she said, or maybe now

I was about to ask what she meant by that when I felt someone tap me on my shoulder and when I turned around it was Mike. Now I've had a crush on Mike for the longest. We have a lot of classes together and we're work partners in some if those classes and we talk but only about work. Nows my chance!!

Hey Amber, he said

Oh hey Mike, how are you, I asked

I'm good, but hey the reason I'm mainly over here is I was wondering if you would like to hang out this summer?

Yes I would love too, I said

Awesome, can I get your number?

Sure, I said as I gave him my number

Thanks I'll call you later, he said as he started to walk off
