The Purge: 5SOS

1 HOUR BEFORE THE PURGE

Calum's POV

"WOOO!!" We all cheered as we ended the song. I love performing it gives me a great rush but then people started acting weird and security guards were coming from everywhere.

"Boys we need to go. We need to get every one out of here now!" I heard a security guard say pulling us off stage as we saw security guards help the girls out of the stadium. They were already pushing all of our girlfriends into cars. I heard all the fans screaming and pushing each other out of the arena.

"Whats going on?" Luke asked just as confused as I was.

"Just get in the cars, we don't have time to explain." The guard said as we all separated into the cars. I got into the one with my girlfriend, Shannon. She was crying.

"Shhh, shhh its okay." I whispered stroking her hair as she rested her head on my shoulder.

"No Calum. Stop lying. Do you even know whats going on?" She asked.

"No." I said dumbfounded. "Did anyone tell you?" I asked her.

"Apparently earlier before we were here in America, people made a petition for America to have a real purge. It's happening in an hour. They're trying to get us somewhere safe but I'm scared Calum. I can't risk anything to happen to me. I'd be taking two lives instead of one." She cried.

"Your pregnant?" I asked as I looked at her up and down.

"Yes! I was going to tell you tonight but..." She started.

"Oh my god....Oh my god.....Oh my god...." I breathed.

"What are we going to do?" She cried.

"We are going to keep you and Calum Jr. safe as long as we can." I said as I pulled out my phone to call Ashton, Michael, and Luke.

"Guys. I don't know if you were already told but I'm going to say it anyway. The USA has decided to go for an annual purge. This is the first annual purge and let me tell you Shannon's fucking pregnant. I don't know what to do guys." I said chewing on my nails

"Dude she has to live, we can't risk anything with her." Ashton said.

"Stress isn't good for the baby!" I heard Natalie say.

"We don't really have a choice!" I defended as we pulled up to a building that looked like a normal hotel. We ran inside and it truly was a normal hotel. This was our safe place? We're going to die. We all piled into a hotel room where a doctor was going to meet us shortly according to a security guard.

We were all in there, everyone sitting on beds. All the girls crying besides Tobi, Michael's girlfriend. We kept giving Shannon water but she wouldn't take it too scared it might be poisoned or whatever but I can't say I blame her. I'd be the same way.

About 10 minutes later the doctor showed up and there was also an announcement saying 15 minutes until the annual purge. The doctor started asking Shannon questions like how far along she was, how long has she known, the whole 9 yards. By the time he was done they've started the countdown "55... 54... 53... 52... 51..."

FIRST 15 MINUTES OF THE PURGE

Every one started freaking out besides the doctor and Tobi. I don't understand why they're not. Have they gone through this before? Do they know what to do? I don't care. We all stood silent as they announced the purge has actually started.

I heard stomps all around from people outside and upstairs. We didn't move until about 5 minutes later. None of us made a noise as we all didn't move but we did turn on the tv to see what's happening but the volume stayed off.

"I'm going to grab something out of my bag. All it is is something to add to your water to help the baby." The doctor whispered. He turned to his bag and started digging around. We waited for about 5 minutes and he still hadn't found it.

"Let me help you find it." Luke offered sitting down next to the man. The next few moments went by so slowly you thought it might never end. As Luke sat down the doctor was slinging his arm around towards Luke with a knife.

"LUKE!" Natalie shouted as Luke tried to roll out of the way. But while that was happening Shannon grabbed a pair of scissors and slashed her arm towards the doctor. I barely had enough time to process that but I did just in time to hear the cold dead body drop on the hard floor with a thump along with the clicking of scissors.
