Prologue - Meet Bái Qiú!

Bai Changle woke up with his head spinning, he then looked up, seeing a white ball floating in the air.

[Welcome to Xinghai space, host!]

The white ball said in Bai Changle's mind.

'...I must be dreaming right now..'

Bai Changle thought.

[Host!! It's not a dream! I can read your mind you know!]

The white ball continued to complain and pouted.

Bai Changle then tried to touch the white ball in front of him, yet his hands went through the white ball.

[Host! Stop wasting time! This system shall explain to you what this system is!]

The white ball said.

[This system is the 'Matchmake the Protagonist System' with the mission of matchmaking the protagonist of each world! I wandered in the alley where you were killed, so this system took your soul and bound it to me.]

The white ball said with a cutesy tone.

[What do you want to call me, Host?] The white ball asked.

"...."

'Okay, I'm really going crazy right now.'

The system can read the Host's mind, so the white ball said, [Host!! It's all real! You died and this system linked your soul to this system so you can be this system's Host!]

"I guess...I really died..",Changle said with a sad tone. "Why did you pick me as your Host?", asked Changle.

[The higher ups of this system will punish me if I don't find a host in two days wuu wuu....Now name this system Host...please..],The white ball asked Changle again.

Changle answered the question that the white ball asked, "Bái qiú."

The system cried inside, (Why must the Host call me white ball?! Wuu wuu...)

The system continued to say, [Host, you may call this system Bái Qiú from now on.]

Changle asked bái qiú, "How did I die..?"

Bái qiú then explained to Changle, [One of the men that had a crush on Host had a lover before he saw Host. He and his lover have been dating for 5 years before Host came into the picture. The lover of this man became insane because she was heartbroken to see her man break up with her to fully pursue Host. She plotted to kill you, and she succeeded. That's how you died, Host.]

Changle continued to ask, "What happened after..?"

Bái qiú answered, [Your family was very sad to see you die, and seeing you in a coffin. Your older brother avenged you after he found out who the killer is. The killer was sentenced to jail for a lifetime and died in prison. Your parents died because of old age and your older brother inherited the Bai company.]

Changle remembered the life he had before dying, loving parents, wealthy house, a caring older brother, and a crazy best friend.

Some said that Bai Longwei (Bai Changle's older brother) was a cold person, yet he treated his family with warmth. Even though his brother doesn't have the same childhood experiences like other kids, he still took care of him.
