The Story of Us

Chapter One

     

      Nicole walked into her new high school, starting her junior year feeling unbelievably nervous and feeling sick at her stomach. Nicole has a timid personality and has trouble talking to people that she does not know very well. Nicole is a very attractive girl. She has dark brown hair, and her eyes are very beautiful, brown and dramatic looking. When she smiles it lights up her face, and she is always smiling.  

     Nicole's first class was English. When she walked in she saw a really cute guy and she sat down next to him. She was so nervous, but she didn’t want to be rude and not even say hello to him.

     "Hello!” said Nicole shyly.

     "Hi!"

     "What’s your name?” asked Nicole.

     "Jackson, what’s yours?"

     "Nicole!"

    Jackson has dark hair, and the most beautiful blue eyes Nicole had ever seen. He was incredibly good looking, and she was so nervous talking to him that she felt like her face was beat red.

     "So, are you new here?" asked Jackson.

     "Yeah, I just moved here. I don't know anyone!"

     "Well, now you know me!” said Jackson sweetly.

     "Well, Yeah, I guess I do!" Nicole laughed quietly.

     "Maybe we could go out sometime and I'll show you around!"

      "That would be nice." said Nicole as her heart started drumming wildly!

     That same afternoon Nicole was sitting in her last class of the day. A single red rose was delivered to her. A small card was attached to the rose. Nicole opened the card and it read, "Nicole, Would you like to go out this Friday night? Jackson." Nicole was so excited! She couldn't wait to get home and look through her clothes and find the perfect outfit for Friday.

     The next thing she knew it was Friday already. Nicole was getting more and more nervous by the second. As Nicole was trying to get ready for her date, she tried on just about everything she owned and finally settled on a sweet little sundress since it was still pretty hot outside for being September. She pulled her hair up into a cute little twist as the doorbell rang; she hurried down the stairs to answer it.

Nicole opened the door and it was Jackson, standing there with a single red rose. He was dressed in a pair of jeans and a fitted t-shirt that made his arm muscles bulge. He looked extremely hot!

     Nicole and Jackson decided to go bowling. They went to a nearby bowling alley and there was also a pool table there as well. Nicole likes to play pool a little more than she likes to bowl. So, they played a couple games of pool. As Jackson was trying to take his shot, Nicole would step in way of him lining up the ball, trying to flirt with him a little bit. Jackson stepped right against Nicole and said, "If you don't move I'll kiss you!" Nicole’s stomach started to jump, she wanted him to kiss her so much. Nicole just stood there for a few seconds waiting for him to kiss her. He didn't. So, she moved out of the way. Nicole was disappointed that he didn't kiss her. She thought that he was probably nervous too. So, maybe next time he will kiss her!

     The following Friday Nicole received another single red rose. The card read, “Would you like to go to the dance with me? Jackson." That night, Jackson and Nicole went to a dance at their school called the Snowball dance. They held each other close and danced together during all of the slow songs and even slow danced together during some of the fast songs. Nicole loved how she felt dancing with him with her head on his shoulder, and he smelled so good!

      During the song "It's your love" by Tm McGraw, Jackson kissed Nicole, the most sweet, romantic kiss she had ever felt. Nicole's insides turned to butter.

      Nicole had a surge of feelings hit her all at once and she was pretty sure she is falling in love.

      Every Friday after that Nicole received a single red rose. And the card was always signed, Love Jackson.
