Chapter 12

Maddie's POV

I was walking down the hallway, listening to music, when I spot Dean about to punch Dexter. I ran as fast I could to save him. Although he's Avery's brother, he's a softy and that's why I like him. He wouldn't hurt a fly if his life even depended on it.

I got there just in time to grab hold of Dean's hand and twist it around his back, forcing him against the locker.

"And what exactly do you really think you're doing Dean?" I ask raising an eyebrow. I hate people like him. Just because you're larger than someone, doesn't mean you can go around and bully other people.

"What does it look like doll face? I'm taking care of this nerd."

At that I lost. Slowly I felt myself slipping out of all sanity. This usually happen when someone hurt the people I love and care about. I twisted his hand some more until a loud crack was heard in the hall then a scream of pure pain and agony. A teacher came and pull me away and help calm me down. They had to rush Dean to the hospital because there was nothing the school's nurse could do.

Dexter came over and sat beside the teacher and I.
"Are you OK?" He ask, worry written all over his cute little baby face. 'Awww! Look at him. Worrying about me when I literally just sent someone to the hospital'
"Yeah I'm fine."

Avery and Lora soon walked over to us. Avery then did something that I wasn't ready for. She hugged me.

"This is exactly why we're friends."

"I literally just dislocated his arm and you hear what you have to say" I said while chuckling. I got up and started off to my class with the others behind me.

Dexter's POV...
We got to class 5mins late and because of what happened in the hall our teacher wasn't there. Everyone was staring at us and it made me uncomfortable. How does the girls stand this much attention?

"What? Is something one me to stare at?!" Avery said causing the whole class to turn away instantly. We took our seats in the back like always, me taking the one towards the window. I looked out said window and sighed heavily. 'Well that's one way to start the day'

Hey guys! No I'm not dead I just haven't had much time to update and school have been hell. I'm actually sad right now so if this makes no sense to you then I'm sorry. You see I really don't know what I did but my best friend insulted me this morning at school and ignored me the whole day and now I just feel like shit because of course it's my fault but I just don't know what I did.
