Rejection

A/N: I don't own or Harry Potter or any of the pictures or videos that I will use on this.

        Only a few minutes has passed since Professor McGonagall announced of the coming Yule Ball. Parvati and Padma were seen looking at Harry, but it went by unnoticed. Harry was seen at staring at Hermione though. He walked up to her in the hallway and said, "Will you be my date to the Yule Ball?"         
        Hermione tried to keep her laughter in because she didn't want to embarrass Harry in front all of these people so all she said was, "Sorry Harry, I don't think I'm gonna be able to see you something other than a friend."
        "Well why don't we just go as friends?" Asked Harry.
        "Because this is the first time I'm going to a ball. It's very important to me." She replied.
        "Oh ok then, that's fine..." Harry said as he attempts to fake a smile.
        Hermione then walks away from Harry and didn't notice that Parvati had just come up to Harry and asked him to the Ball. Even though he just got rejected by the girl he wanted to go with, he said yes to Parvati. Parvati started jump up and down and went to her twin Padma and started giggling on the way to their next class.
        As Harry saw how happy he made Parvati, he couldn't help but smile at the enthusiasm Parvati showed. He actually got excited for the Yule Ball and forgot he even got rejected by his best friend... and ex-crush.
         He walked into his next class, which Parvati was also in and caught her eyes, which resulting in both of them blushing and turning away. Hermione watched as the scene unfolded and couldn't help but wonder what that feeling in her stomach was. "Why do I suddenly feel like this?" Hermione thought. "I rejected him... not the other way around."

A/N: this story isn't really just a Harry/Parvati. It's a Harry/multi, but I haven't decided who should be in it. Hermione will be in it... or will she?
