Our Dance Team Story

Once upon a dance year we auditioned for company. A snail named SlowBob wanted to fulfill his dream of being a Rockette. We danced and danced and Patricia was scared of him. But SlowBob persevered. The year was full of lots of hard work and repetition. We had classes every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday!

We made balloon towers and had guest artists. SlowBob loved his Aurora role in Sleeping Beauty. He wore a big flower on his shell. But then a Turtle showed up and delivered tacos. He was the prettiest ballerina in all of Salina. The snail was jealous of the turtle, the turtle had won the role in Sleeping Beauty. The title's name was Tom. Tom was excited for his role, but ended up breaking his shell!

SlowBob was the understudy and got the role. The leader of the Rockettes was at the show! They loved his performance and was hired on the spot! SlowBob told the Rockettes about the Turtle. They celebrated with Tacos! The turtle turned down the role because he discovered his true passion as a rapper.
