DARKNESS FALLS! Investigations continue into the attack of the Whitehall Conference. Very little is known about the incident though it's presumed that the ambush was orchestrated by dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald. The exact purpose of the conference remains unknown, seemingly confidential. However, it is known that Aurors from various parts of the world attended this meeting.
Multiple reports state that the gathering was interrupted when dark wizards stormed through the Ministry of Magic and attacked the Conference Room.
"We suspect the attack to be a message. A message meant to discourage international relations. However, wizardkind must remain united if we hope to survive the war against evil," said President Picquery. "We must show Grindelwald that he cannot destroy our civilization. That we have endured countless attacks from dark wizards before and that he will not be the one to destroy us. If anything, we will destroy him."
The exact death toll of the attack is yet to be given to the public. However, MACUSA has released a statement declaring that the incident claimed the lives of ten American Aurors. "Many of us are in mourning over the loss of the friends we've come to recognize as family," stated Percival Graves, Auror, Director of Magical Security, and head of MACUSA's Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Graves sustained several injuries during the attack and is currently recovering in St. Mungo's Hospital.

Picquery is scheduled to give a speech regarding the incident later today. However, people are more curious about what's next in the agenda of Gellert Grindelwald.
